Charles, you’re full of crap.
William Horton was a 23-year-old hoodlum in 1974 when he and two friends held up a gas station in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Despite the fact that the 17-year-old attendant, Joseph Fournier, handed over $276.37 – all the money from the cash register – the three stabbed him repeatedly and then stuffed him in a garbage can, leaving him there with his feet by his chin, to die from blood loss.
Horton was captured, convicted, and sentenced to life without parole. But in June 1986, he was released from prison as part of Massachusetts’ weekend furlough program, which in 1973 the state supreme court had ruled must be extended to first-degree murderers.
Horton didn’t return from his furlough. Ten months later, he broke into the home of Clifford Barnes and Angela Miller in Oxon Hill, Maryland, and terrorized the couple for 12 hours. He pistol-whipped and stabbed Barnes, then tied him to a pole in the basement. When Miller got home from work, Horton raped her repeatedly at gunpoint, before finally fleeing in the couple’s car.
After he was captured (again!) and sentenced to two consecutive life terms, the sentencing judge refused to return him to Massachusetts. “I’m not prepared to take the chance that Mr. Horton might again be furloughed or otherwise released,” he said. “This man should never draw a breath of free air again.”
When Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis ran for president in 1988, the Horton affair was stapled to his campaign – first by Al Gore in the Democratic primary, who challenged the furlough program in a primary debate. It was raised later, to devastating effect, in an ad for Bush produced by a political action committee that featured Horton’s glowering face, and by Bush himself on the campaign trail.
There is nothing false stated in the ad from 1988. Nothing racist, either. Willie Horton was an animal, a murderous robber, kidnapper, torturer and rapist who never should have been let out of prison in the first place.
Charles, your blatant ignorance and fabrication of easily-verifiable history is an embarrassment to the left wing media. #RUMPSWAB
Wow. Breaking news: Obama’s father was a muslim, so Obama’s half-brother is a muslim. Brilliant sleuthing, Charles.

Oh, brother. Read the rest of this entry »
It began with The Budget Control Act of 2011:
…enacted August 2, 2011, is a federal statute in the United States that was signed into law by President Barack Obama on August 2, 2011. The Act brought conclusion to the United States debt-ceiling crisis of 2011, which had threatened to lead the United States into sovereign default on or around August 3, 2011.
The law involves the introduction of several complex mechanisms, such as creation of the Congressional Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (sometimes called the “super committee”), options for a balanced budget amendment and automatic budget sequestration. [wiki]
Charles (not the journalist) Johnson cites a New York Times editorial from July 2012, a piece that reads more like an anonymous letter to the editor, contains blatant fallacies and offers no sources to back up the disproven claims. (In fact, despite threats of massive numbers of government employees being layed off due to the Sequester, only ONE has been reported in all federal agencies.)
Oh, and Charles, who caused the debt ceiling crisis that spawned the Budget Control Act?
Charles (not the journalist) Johnson is a lying sack of, well, himself.
[Update: Yeah, we slogged back into The Swamp and found more lies.]
Our best guess:
Charles was so disturbed by the ethereal appearance of Comment No.10M (and the subsequent feverish hunt through his collection of IP addresses to identify the wag who posted it) that his entire world view flipped 180 degrees:
The Left is now Right, and The Right is even further Right.
Fact: It’s been discovered that the Obama Administration deliberately attempted to squelch the free press. Long-time Lizard NJDhockyfan observed that even Glenn Greenwald, a well-known leftist and political pundit, is not happy about it.
NJDhockyfan stepped on an invisible LGF eggshell. Let the Downdingbat-N-Bait Fest begin.
So there you go. Greenwald is not a “lefty” because he and many others know that Obama and his Administration are attempting to squelch criticism in direct violation of The First Amendment, and even a leftist like Greenwald (who occasionally supports the Constitution) doesn’t like it. From the respected conservative website Wikipedia:
“Articles in The New York Times and The Nation have referred to Greenwald as ‘liberal‘, an example of ‘liberals [who] wonder when Obama’s team will reflect them’, and a ‘liberal commentator’; polls have ranked him as a top liberal (Forbes) and progressive (New Statesman) commentator.”
Only in the fertile imagination of Charles Johnson does
Greenwald = Obama critic = Racist = Right Wing.
But wait! There’s more!
The drama continues. Here’s a recap.
Long time Lizard “Buck” (LGF Class of 2001) called out Charles Johnson for taking quotes out of context with regard to anti-jihadist Brigitte Gabriel on the CNN/President Zucker thread. Rather than debate differences in opinion, Johnson and the LGF hive descended with emotional vitriol and name calling, completely disregarding the facts.
[Ref: Buck Schools the LGFer]
In order to dismiss Buck’s argument, Johnson posted fabricated quotes attributed to Gabriel (just as he did with Rush Limbaugh) and linked to a NYT article attacking Gabriel written by Laurie Goodstein whose information came from Lebanese Hizbollah supporter Hwaida Saad. (Saad claims that Arab-Christian Brigitte Gabriel lies about her family’s persecution at the hands of muslim extremists.)
Charles Johnson can’t accept being shown he’s wrong, even when it’s done with polite respect and backed up by facts. It’s easier to demonize and kill the messenger at Little Green Footballs. MORE TO COME.
Update: We held off posting more as we fully expected a new swarm of dingwars, but there are so few Lizards willing to be marked and tracked by Johnson’s in-house stealth system (“spy mode” allows registered lizards to track and fink on each other) that they went silent in paranoia. Once the ban stick is taken down and bonked on the floor a few times, the eggshells get big, brittle and scary for the sycophantic lizard lappers of Little Green Footballs.
We agree that name calling is childish, but once we post Charles Johnson’s own words and bust him on it, we’re only quoting the late Andrew Breitbart when we refer to the big boy cheap-shot cut-N-paste futon drama diva as “fuckface.”
Thank you Charles.
You ready for the dissection? Here we go. The story Charles Johnson refers to links here, where we find this:
The resolution grew out of a dispute between the American Civil Liberties Union and the Rowan County Board of Commissioners. In a federal lawsuit filed last month same time with http://sideeffectsofxarelto.org/xarelto-lawsuits/, the ACLU says the board has opened 97 percent of its meetings since 2007 with explicitly Christian prayers.
Overtly Christian prayers at government meetings are not rare in North Carolina. Since the Republican takeover in 2011, the state Senate chaplain has offered an explicitly Christian invocation virtually every day of session, despite the fact that some senators are not Christian.
Got that? The State of North Carolina is under attack by the ACLU for opening prayer at state sessions, so in defense and to defeat the frivolous lawsuits, the State proposes to legalize Christian prayer via legislation. In other words, North Carolina was goaded into action by the actions of the liberal ACLU.
But that’s not how the story is presented by Mr. Cut-N-Paste. “It’s an explicit violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution,” he says, and he’s completely wrong.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The key word is Congress, Chuck, and the State of North Carolina is not it. The ACLU is attempting to prohibit the free exercise thereof, and that’s what the story is about.
“The word for this is ‘theocracy’,” claims Mr. Charles F. Rumpswab, thus displaying his basic lack of understanding about what the word means. The “fanatical religious nutjobs who are wasting money on pointless anti-Constitutional legislation” are the ACLU weasels, Chuck.
[BTW, Charles cut and pasted this unoriginal image from istockphoto, so we modified it for purposes of this post; otherwise the screencap was left untouched.]
In the realm of politics there are good arguments, and there are blatantly inane bloviations. This is one of the more vapid kind. Charles Johnson and others (including Glenn Beck) claim that the producers of a cable show entitled “The Bible” cast an actor to play the part of Satan who they say is a dead-ringer for Barack Obama.
It’s no surprise that Charles jumped on the bandwagon with his post “History Channel’s Incredibly Obama-Like Satan.” Everyone knows that Johnson’s a professional post-game drum major leading the LGF Marching Band to the yellow buses that already left the stadium, but we’re gonna help him out anyway.
Despite the fact that every theatrical endeavor employs actors, there are some similarities between the actor portraying Satan and President Duffer, but not many.
Edward Jame Olmos might be a closer match to Satan, but The Race Detective should have the last say. Charles Johnson won’t “Stand And Deliver” because he’s already made clear his opinions about hispanics/latinos.
This one’s a close call, but Pelosi’s a contender. If she weren’t female, she’d be male. Either way there’s enough of a resemblance for Beck and Johnson to nod heads in agreement.
John Boehner and the actor who portrayed Satan share some facial characteristics and go to the same barbershop. That’s enough proof for me.
Looks like the folks at The History Channel might have been aiming at Maxine Waters instead. This is not a coincidental match up. Different sexes, different races, both playing Satan. Go for it, Charles.
This is my best pick for the coincidental resemblance convergence. Mohamen Mehdi Ouazani looks EXACTLY like Charles “fuckface” Johnson.
