#TwitterGulag II: A Little Birdy Told Me

Charles F. Johnson is an amateur leftist. He can’t hide his lies and smears against those who supported him, regardless if his blogger buddies were on the right or left. He’s a man without a clue.

Seems there’s another way to get people who disagree with Charles F. Johnson to get their Twitter accounts suspended besides the infamous Twitter Comment Block/Report Trap. Spam Twitter CEO Dick Costolo (via #AskCostolo) with false complaints and accusations with no evidence until he caves just to shut them up. That’s exactly what happened to @Gus_807 and others. It’s the un-hidden leftist method: Lie And Lie Loudly. Read the rest of this entry »

PART 5 – THE LIBERAL TURNAROUND

Up until the election of Barrack Obama in 2008, LGF could still be seen as essentially a conservative blog. Indeed, in blog awards voting, LGF was consistently listed as “conservative” and Johnson voiced no qualms about the distinction.

But a change was in the wind, and in 2008 Johnson became obsessed with religion and “creationism” in particular. At the same time, his posts took a decidedly “anti-Christian” tone. The same fervor with which Johnson once exposed Islamofascism around the globe, he became intent on uncovering the evil ensconced in the Christian belief that God created the heavens and earth, while ignoring the fact that other major religions held similar belief systems.

Johnson ran regular threads about lawmakers wanting to teach creationism in classrooms, with the theme that if this view prevailed and Intelligent Design and/or creationism was even discussed in schoolrooms, the Republic was doomed. While many at LGF agreed with Johnson that creationism or even intelligent design should not be taught in the schools, many were not ready to abandon their own religions and follow the tenets of Darwin. Of the religious frequenters to LGF, most realized that creationism and evolution were not necessarily contradictory.

The Ruse and Fail of Little Green Footballs: Part IV – The Flounces

This is Part 4 of a monograph about a blog named Little Green Footballs and its founder Charles Foster Johnson. Click the links below for related posts. They will be updated as the series continues.

PART 4 – THE FLOUNCES

In contrast to The Bannings, there were many who saw the writing on the wall at Little Green Footballs. Rather than wait for Charles Johnson’s own sock puppet “Stinky Beaumont” to fetch the banning stick, they decided to leave voluntarily. Most just walked away quietly, but there were many who wanted to have one last word before they left. These comments were referred to as “flounces.”

The record of “flounces” is sparse, as once a member of Little Green Footballs announced that he/she was leaving, Johnson would delete the comment, often within seconds, depriving other lizards and the public from reading the complaint. Once a lizard “flounced” he/she was no longer welcome, and was mocked by the remaining hive of LGF supporters. No matter how popular or prolific the “flouncer” had been at LGF, he/she was instantly demonized and smeared as someone who shouldn’t have been allowed to post in the first place.

Patterico’s destruction of pony-tailed Guru of Culver Boulevard!

Patterico took off the gloves and humiliated Charles Johnson on twitter.

Well Charles did reply!

Charles did not refute any of Patterico’s facts. Instead he just ran back into his cocoon. The pony-tailed Guru is a coward.

[UPDATE: PATTERICO KICKS A MAGICAL JAZZY PONYTAIL RIGHT IN THE VAJAYJAY.]

From the Charles Johnson School of Misrepresentation – Part Infinity

During recent TweetWars with Patterico and others, Charles Johnson repeatedly attempted to discourage free discussion with anyone he’s identified as affiliated with Diary of Daedalus.  Since “Serbian Genocide Deniers” is a ridiculous insult at face value, Johnson decided that it’s better to discredit us with an LGF Page posted by “goddamnedfrank.” [cached link]

Johnson supports goddamnedfrank’s false claim, that a video posted on this website promotes neo-nazis and anti-semitsm. GF is not only wrong, but by cherry picking images from the video, he lied and knowingly misrepresented the entire meaning of the video – a tribute to Chilean General Augusto Pinochet for fighting communist insurgents, restoring the Chilean economy, and averting the mass murder of civilians.

NOWHERE IN THE VIDEO DOES IT MENTION JEWS. NOWHERE IN THE VIDEO DOES IT SUPPORT NEONAZIS.

The LGF lie is obvious to anyone who’s taken the time to watch it. Here are the exact words that show up on the video WARRAHA – Hammer Of The Right

LiberTV presents…
Hammer of the Right
[The following are captions from the video in the order that they appear. My bold.]
Dedicated to General Augusto Pinochet
[Images of Pinoche, one captioned “GUERRERO CONTRA MARXISMO” – Warrior against Marxism.]
Salutowatem Pinochetowi!
Communism is the worst evil
Allende regime in Chile was about to exterminate
most people by destruction of private property and free economy
many Chileans were dying of hunger… many were executed
by so-called friends of people – communist guerillas from Cuba
but the General was ordered to bring order!
[Images of Fidel Castro, Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Che Guevara]
all COMMUNIST subhumans
Hasta La Vista Baby!
The bastard Allende destroyed Chilean economy
So the General hired Chicago economists to revive it!
Private property was reinstated, market and prices returned
And soon food shortages disappeared, as well as any other
Free market reforms made Chile the strongest economy in S. America
no longer a nation of slaves nor serfs – but of private businessment!
But the General was all TOO MERCIFUL…
He let the enemies of Chile leave the country FREE…
Abroad, they started spreading false propaganda about the coup and the General
WE WILL NOT LET SUCH A MISTAKE HAPPEN AGAIN!
No freedom for the ENEMIES OF FREEDOM!
Capitalism = Freedom!
[Images include protest marches with signs including one with the Statue of Liberty, “More Freedom Less Government” Libertarianz.org, and a brief cover shot of The Turner Diaries.]
FREEDOM
PROPERTY
JUSTICE
HONOUR
LOYALTY
SACRIFICE
ALL HAIL!

The entire premise of goddamnedfrank‘s twisted smear was the brief image of the cover of The Turner Diaries. Yep it’s there. The book is about overthrowing tyranny, and apparently contains some anti-semitic themes. I haven’t read it, don’t intend to, but it’s immaterial to this discussion because the video didn’t promote it.

The intent of this post is not to dissect Chilean history. It is to point out the blatant misrepresentations and lies posted on Little Green Footballs and Charles Johnson’s abhorrent attempts to smear those who disagree with him as racists and neo-nazis.

“Anyway it’s interesting that so often it’s the people that relentlessly dry hump a cause like supporting Israel as if they’re covering up their true feelings who end up linking to totally crazy crap like this.”  —goddamnedfrank

Tell us, Charles. Who’s the POS supporting and promoting anti-semitsm?

Aaron Worthing smashes the Sage of Culver City on Patterico

The Dairy of Daedalus has become the bible of getting information on the dishonesty of Charles Johnson. One of the many prominent bloggers who references us is Patterico. He had a guest post by Aaron Worthing that gave an honorable mention to the Minotaur’s post. It was in response to The Sage of Culver City trying to mock him. Well Mr. Worthy gives him a classic smack down.

And apparently Chaz thinks that somehow it is the most hilarious thing in human history that I didn’t just know this, writing an entire post where he mocks me for this, accuses me of xenophobia and setting off a tweet war yesterday.  Seriously I felt like a guy being made fun of by hard-core Trekkies for being unable to speak fluent Klingon.  It’s nerd-knowledge–not exactly what anyone would call common knowledge.

I mean look, I am a law nerd (among other things).  So I can read this passage from an Onion article on the Justices of the Supreme Court vowing to lose their virginity and I would get this joke:

[….]

Oh, and if you go back to the original post to see how knowledge of UTC mattered to the subject at hand…  you will be at a loss.  My lack of knowledge can’t be attributed to any error I made.  It just made it harder to prove when a post was published on the web.  And certainly it doesn’t bear on the subject of global warming.  I mean is Chuckles trying to claim that if we went by UTC time that the UN’s prediction that there would be 50 million climate refugees by 2010 was not wrong?  Was that on the special secret nerd-time calendar, Chaz?

So the whole thing amounted to the cheapest gotcha one could imagine,*** proving I didn’t know something I admitted I didn’t know, that most normal people don’t know, and that had at best a tangential bearing on the subject.

The Sage of Culver City can dish it, but not take it. He’s thin skin and believes he’s the leader of a movement. The reality is he’s a joke and an object of ridicule. Obama was in Culver City and didn’t even invite Charles to his rally. Then again would Obama even know who he is? Clearly the great Sage of Culver City is an irrelevant joke.

I would like to thank Patterico and Aaron Worthing for referencing the Diary of Daedalus.
