Charles Johnson can GOFUND himself.

Charles Johnson started a GoFundMe account on 6 May 2015 with a goal of $20,000. Between 6 May 2015 and 1 August 2017  he’s collected $7,044.00, 35.2% percent of his goal.

Nobody’s donating much, so let’s break it down for fun.

That graph isn’t too bad, kinda jumpy and jivy in a Magical Jazzy kinda way, but then it looks entirely different when you include the initial spike.

Now let’s look at the money.

The Little Green Line is the cumulative amount in U.S. dollars. The Little Blue Line is the actual monetary contributions by month from the inception.

Regarding Anonymous Donors:

About $3K came from 72 donors who wished to remain anonymous and there’s no way to verify the actual number  – only Charles Johnson can do that. If we delete the May 2015 spike, the number drops to 37, totaling $1,639, so approximately half of the anonymous donations were made in May of 2015. All anonymous donors from 01 June 2015 to the present average about $44 per donation.

That’s what it looks like without the initial donation spike.
So if we take the goal of $20K, subtract the initial spike of donations, we get an interesting projection.
01 June 2015 – 01 August 2017  = 793 days.
$7,440.00 (to date) – $2,573.00 (May 2015) = $4,867.00
$4,867.00 /793 days =  $6.14/day average. Awesome.

How many days?

($20,000 – $4,867) / $6.14/day = 2,465 days left to to hit the LGF jackpot begging target.

At this rate, Charles Johnson should hit his goal of $20K on or about 1 August 2017 + 2,465 days = 01 May 2024.

Lettuce know if the maths are Rogered and we’ll correct it pronto.

From the What If Department:

Would Charles Johnson accept the donation and be labeled an attention whore for the rest of his life, be mocked for being a hypocrite, or cash out and run away wearing a Little Green Footballs knitted pussyhat with a donation from a group that he despises?  This could be fun.

[BTW, the BRC2.0 has a months-long project completely unrelated to this post, and it might not happen at all. – Bunk X]

  3. Pakimon says:

I seem to remember that when Chunkles first opened the gofundme account, his goal was $10,000.

About a year in, he bumped it up to $20,000.

I figured he was getting peevish at the fact that he was a year in and hadn’t even cracked $5000 plus the fact everyone was pointing and laughing about it which prompted him to bump the goal to $20,000 so it wouldn’t look so pathetic.

Of course, I could be wrong.

I’m getting old and the ol’ memory ain’t what it used to be… 😀

    • rightymouse says:

That’s what I remember too! And I have a pretty good memory. 🙂

      • Arachne says:

That’s exactly what happened. I think he upped it somewhere after the first year anniversary when we were laughing at his pathetic returns. In fact, we were really laughing how he was probably licking his chops at all the money he thought was coming his way after the initial surge that trickled off to nothing. In fact, after careful consideration it would not suprise me to learn that he provided maybe the initial “seed” donations into the account’s donations so he wouldn’t look like a total fool.

I remember predicting that he wouldn’t meet his goal until at least Labor Day in 2015 when it was $10,000. A year later he still wasn’t halfway there.

  4. Arachne says:

And why are the donors remaining Anonymous? You would think Fatso’s asslicking sycophants would want Daddy to know they’re putting pennies in the piggy bank.

And it’s interesting that it often follows an odd pattern. Name donates $50. Within two days, two Anonymous donors put in an amount close to the amount of the name donation. Which is why I’ve often believed that Fatso takes the money out (minus the GFM handling fee) and puts some back in briefly to look like a lot of donations are in. Because as we’ve learned, there is no way of knowing if money has been withdrawn. And a lot of this activity happens right after we’ve taken a few pot shots at him.

I’m just spitballin’ here, but it would not surprise me to find out that the amount of REAL donations to NoBucksChuck is less than $5000.

Chunk Johnson is a complete fraud. His GoFundMe is in the Arts category when his online activities are 100% left wing lying narrative. Posting video links does not make one an artist nor does a career in the dim distant past as a mediocre side man. I’m so sorry Charles – Sharmuta

I WOULD VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT” – In Sun City, Arizona, a retirement community and Trump stronghold north of Phoenix, 80-year-old John Libby said nothing the president has done since Election Day has changed his support for the man.

♦ “HE HAS DONE NOTHING TO TURN ME AWAY FROM HIM” – Patricia Aleeyah Robinson, a retired truck driver from Toledo, Ohio, said her support of Trump has cost her friendships and strained family relationships. But like many of the president’s most passionate supporters, the 63-year-old black woman said her opinions about Trump have not changed since his response to the violence at the Charlottesville rally.

“He has done nothing to turn me away from him,” said Robinson. She said he doesn’t defer to racists and feels he is the only president who has ever spoken directly to blacks.
“HE SHOULDN’T LET THE PRESS GET UNDER HIS SKIN” – Clemente Ruiz, a 49-year-old truck driver in Lubbock, Texas, said he’s been happy with the job Trump has done. “I’d vote for him again tomorrow,” he said. The son of a Mexican immigrant who became an American citizen, Ruiz said his only criticism of the president is that he is too “thin-skinned.”

“He refuses to let anything go,” Ruiz said. “He shouldn’t let the press get under his skin the way they do.”

♦ “WHY CAN’T I BE PROUD OF MY HERITAGE?” – Steven Damron, 50, a Trump supporter from Spring Hill, Florida, said he agrees with Trump that both sides in Charlottesville were to blame for the violence.

He thinks the president has handled the aftermath well, but believes he should also have singled out groups on the left — such as Black Lives Matter — the way he did with the KKK and neo-Nazis.

♦ “HE SPEAKS HIS MIND” – Wyoming construction contractor Richard Mathern said he voted for Trump because of his business experience and wasn’t fazed he hadn’t spoken out more forcefully against the weekend violence. “Trump, he speaks his mind, there’s no doubt about that. It does tend to tick people off,” Mathern said during a break at a home nearing completion in Cheyenne.

“There’s a lot of hatred down there (in Charlottesville) … But tearing down historical statues is not the answer,” he said.

  15. Trump is Teh HORROR!- Chunky McDumbth, #1Olberdouche Fan Boy. says:

So the reason why everyone’s pissed at Trump is he won’t kow tow to the PC snowflakes who want a license to violently attack people who are lawfully gathered. He’s merely stating the facts. Nazis and KKK suck but violent people suck too. I read they brought clubs too and many had no intention of peacefully protesting. They planned on beating the shit out of people who had a legal permit to gather.

“I think there is blame on both sides,” the president said in a combative exchange with reporters at Trump Tower in Manhattan. “You had a group on one side that was bad. You had a group on the other side that was also very violent. Nobody wants to say that. I’ll say it right now.”

Mr. Trump defended those gathered in a Charlottesville park to protest the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee. “I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups,” he said. “Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch.”

He criticized “alt-left” groups that he claimed were “very, very violent” when they sought to confront the white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups that had gathered in Charlottesville.“Many of those people were there to protest the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee,” Mr. Trump said. “So this week, it is Robert E. Lee. I noticed that Stonewall Jackson is coming down. I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?”

It was a remarkable rejection of the criticism he confronted after waiting two days before naming the right-wing groups in the bloodshed that ended with the death of a young woman after a car crashed into a crowd of protesters.

Mr. Trump accused people he called the alt-left of “swinging clubs” as they “came charging at, as you say, at the alt-right.” He said some of the right-wing members of the crowd in the Virginia park were “bad.” But he added that the other side came “charging in without a permit and they were very, very violent.

    • Bunk X says:

General Robert E. Lee and others accepted defeat graciously and without shame. The memorial statues scattered around the South AND the North were erected in part to help bring the nation back together WITH RESPECT.

Oh, and did anyone ever tell you that 90 percent of the white population in the southern states didn’t own slaves because they couldn’t afford them? Anyone ever tell you that even some blacks owned black slaves in this country? Anyone ever tell you that the native Americans owned slaves before the evil white demons ever set foot in this land?

      Didn’t think so.

The 21 year old woman at the table asked “What is a Confederate?”

Went walking down the beach with George early this morning, as the sun was rising over Lake Huron. So beautiful. We came around a promontory and saw a pair of very young deer drinking from the lake. George just stood and watched them, without making a peep or trying to pull towards them. They finished and walked back into the woods, and we carried on our merry way.

Then we found a dead fish, which George had no interest in whatever. Took one whiff, and turned away in disgust. I was stunned, as my other dogs would have wanted to roll in it and cover themselves with stink. This guy has no hunting instincts, I guess. George nearly ripped my arm from the socket once on our front lawn, when we paused to talk to a neighbor, and he suddenly got the urge to run. Even now, after we’ve been to training and had a bunch of heart-to-heart talks, he still gets a wild hair up his bum occasionally and needs to move NOW. Back when I was a pablum-puking liberal in college, I tried to like Dick Gregory, the way my Elders in the PPL taught me. I bought his album. I listened to it eagerly, waiting to be enlightened, amused or whatever. Nada. Just boring crapola. He was starving himself to death at the time, for whatever reason. Then he was selling cookies. I guess I saw through his bullshit, even if I didn’t admit it to myself at the time, because I ignored his spatial pleadings the rest of my life.

IIRC, he was arrested after he printed a bunch of counterfeit currency with his picture on it. Stupid move on his part, but stupid move by the feds as well. Turned Gregory into a SJW martyr of sorts.

My long-deceased grandparents in Buffalo, NY had one of those jiggly-belt machines in their stable/studio/garage, but now I can’t axe them if they ever indulged in such Roaring Twenties debauchery. This is all from Wikipedia, so a bit suspect; but I won’t miss Mr. Gregory much:

At a civil rights rally marking the 40th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Gregory criticized the United States, calling it “the most dishonest, ungodly, unspiritual nation that ever existed in the history of the planet. As we talk now, America is 5 percent of the world’s population and consumes 96 percent of the world’s hard drugs”.[40]

In 2008, Gregory stated he believed that air pollution and intentional water contamination with heavy metals such as lead and possibly manganese may be being used against black Americans, especially in urban neighborhoods, and that such factors could be contributing to high levels of violence in black communities.[41]

Gregory announced a hunger strike on September 10, 2010, saying in a commentary published by the Centre for Research on Globalisation Web site in Montreal that he doubted the official U.S. report about the attacks on September 11, 2001. “One thing I know is that the official government story of those events, as well as what took place that day at the Pentagon, is just that, a story. This story is not the truth, but far from it. I was born on October 12, 1932. I am announcing today that I will be consuming only liquids beginning Sunday until my eightieth birthday in 2012 and until the real truth of what truly happened on that day emerges and is publicly known.”[42]

Yeah, it’s allowed. Probably not in the early days of Twitter, but people link to their blogs, articles, etc. all the time. In fact, in the early days, there was a cap on the number of people you could follow. That’s off now too.

I had to give up on the Gab.ai alternative to Twitter. There were just too many people using racial slurs for me to keep up. Very disappointing. I can block them, of course, but unfortunately I have to see their bigotry before I can block them.

Yeah, that’s pretty much gone by the wayside as well. I think when NON-celebrities started picking up tens of thousands of followers Twitter had to re-think the policy. Aggressive following was categorized as following hundreds of people to “get attention.” As Twitter caught on, they realized some of their rules were stupid.

As for blogs, Twitchy and Weasel Zippers’ tweets always link back to a post on their sites – but of course these are sites that actually have followings, commenters and status on the web. Fatso just wants ad revenue enhancement from site visits and clicks.

This has been the craziest year health wise. I had pancreatitis which made me type 1 diabetic over night and I now have to take insulin because my pancreas no longer produces enough insulin. Yes really! Which actually is not bad at all. You have to inject insulin but not into a vein or anything. Just into a roll of fat around your middle. And the needles are tiny and painless. I almost feel lucky because if you know Type 2 diabetics they have to take all kinds of weird pills that make them feel sick. To keep my blood sugar low I just eat a low carb diet and the insulin of course (and take walks). But one of our best choir singers at church, her boy friend was diagnosed with a brain tumor, inoperable. So terrible. He’s about 62. An architect. How lucky I feel only having diabetes. And then we were hanging out in the front yard checking out the eclipse Monday and it turns out my neighbor’s wife who is a small good looking little woman (I sneak a peak at her in her bikini sometimes) had a heart attack!! I couldn’t believe it. She smokes. But she looks so great. I was shocked. Then to top it off another choir member who’s young, one of our newer singers was hospitalized with a pulminary embolism this week. Things just couldn’t get weirder. He’s doing OK though. But he’s in the same room I was in just few weeks ago at St Elizabeth ICU. The nurses are so awesome there. Very smart and dedicated.

    • Octopus says:

Glad you’re hanging in there, buddy. A little shot now and then isn’t too much to stand, when you think of what could be happening. I’ve lost friends and colleagues at much younger ages than I am now, and I see so many people who aren’t even trying to stay healthy, walking around (or scootering around) at least 100 lbs overweight. I can’t believe people still smoke, but they’re still out there courting cancer and emphysema like they just can’t wait to die. The opiate epidemic is killing people left and right, of all ages. I feel very fortunate (knock on wood!) that I haven’t had any serious health issues so far, and neither has my wife. Probably both crap out tomorrow, but so far, so good.

I was just reading a scary thread over at Ace’s, about how he nearly killed himself yesterday with stupid diet and exercise. He’s obsessed with getting skinny and is going to extremes. I think he just needs a good woman to slap him upside the head and tell him to cut the shit. Men on their own approaching 30 don’t do very well, taking care of themselves.

    • rightymouse says:

As we get older, we’re going to see ourselves and others suffer, and succumb to, health problems. Some are self-induced and/or environment related, but mostly, health problems are genetic. I’m a loud advocate for doing genealogy that includes a focus on causes of death. It’s not perfect, of course. One of my g-grandmothers died in her late 30’s from pneumonia as did her Father. Not helpful.

      • Octopus says:

          • Octopus says:

That’s cool! We have a couple of people in our family who are into researching genealogy. The Irish side is pretty well mapped out, and some contact with relatives has been made. The Greek side is being worked on currently — a surprise already, with an Italian person somewhere in the mix. We joke that it was Christopher Columbus, who was said to have visited the island of Chios, where there’s a statue of him to this day. That would be pretty weird, if it turned out to be true. Unfortunately, the Turks burned all the records when they held the island during their genocidal rampage. Nobody thought to back up the records on the cloud.

    • rightymouse says:

Take care of yourselves, guys! I know that it gets more difficult with age and diets don’t always work. Was always 105 lbs soaking wet (except when preggers) until menopause, then all hell broke loose.

Which means we have to start running again, George. 😉

Sorry. I work for the owner of a big company and when I go home there have been hungry humans expecting a decent meal. It’s slowed down a lot but still. ..

Mrs. Abu and I are type 2 and only child is type 1. The meds worry me but I have little choice, right. Feel off-balance sometimes but no spills yet. 21 yrs old daughter has been type 1 for 10 plus years. We feel your pain and eat healthier because of our conditions.

My sister is type 2 and going strong after about 20 yrs. I think the key is to embrace the solutions and keep a good attitude. The nurses were so enthusiastic about showing their knowledge of diabetes and helping me. I had ketoacidosis and was in the ICU. It’s acute hyperglycemia. Very sick. I had IVs in both arms and they took my blood every two hours for 3 days. I can endure anything. :). ICU nurses are like doctors. They knew my blood sugar level was critical and how to close the gap to get me out of there. They (at the hospital) process the blood in almost real time and the doctors and nurses read the results on line. Pretty amazing. Too I got to experience several phlebotomists. From novice to wizened veterans who find a vein with amazing acumen. But I feel grateful there’s a regimen I can follow to keep my blood sugar safe and that’s how we’re gonna rock and roll from here on out.
