Republicans to blame for Dallas shooting

Last night, Army reservist and Black militant, Micah Xavier Johnson ambushed 12 officers. 4 cops died as a result of this terror attacks and the police have 3 accomplices in custody. As usual the Left is blaming guns and the NRA for this shooting. Over at LGF, some are even blaming the Republican party.

GOP to Blame

I don’t get how wanting to prevent Iran from getting nukes has anything to do with the terrorist attack in Dallas.

Yes, by all means blame the Republicans. 😆

Signed. 11,000 signatures to go. I predict that they will get way over the amount of signatures necessary by the delivery date.

Of course, you all know that this means Preezidint Douchebag is going to have Loretta Lynchthecops put all the signers on the Terror Watch List.

      • Octopus says:

Needs 3,567 signatures by August 5, 2016 to get a response from the White House

        96,433 SIGNED 100,000 GOAL

The White House will laugh it off, but make them do so. It’s disgusting, what these Soros-sponsored terrorists are getting away with in this country. There’s nothing “grassroots” about it, either — this is a very well-funded, well-organized attack on America and the Thin Blue Line separating society from anarchy.

      • Octopus says:

I’ll be shocked, shocked I tell you, if this petition gets any kind of response from the WH. In a story today on Breitbart, they discuss the way the Unicorn Messiah turns up his nose at petitions which don’t tickle his fancy:

The White House’s official online petition system, dubbed “We The People” was introduced by President Barack Obama shortly before the end of his first term.

Despite promising to answer any petition that meets the 100,000 threshold, “We The People” has attracted criticism due to the administration’s tendency to leave petitions that meet the threshold unanswered for months, and sometimes years.

In 2013 The Washington Post published a list of 30 petitions that had been left unanswered by Obama’s White House despite meeting the signature threshold. High-profile petitions calling on the administration to pardon NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and officially deem the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization went unanswered for over a year, and in April 2014 someone even launched a petition calling on the White House to actually answer their petitions.

Well, I am back. The results of my endoscopy are decidedly mixed. The tumor in my esophagus has not stopped growing. I only have about a fifth of an inch of opening going on down into my “stomach”. That is why I am having two much trouble eating solid food. We have a few options. It looks like I will be doing radiation to shrink this tumor directly, and continuing the chemo to attack the cancer systemically. Nutrition is critical right now. I weighed 144.5 pounds this morning. That is simply too light. We are going to do what we can on that.

So I keep going forward. I am not going to give up. I am nauseous, and that doesn’t help. It is hard to eat when you feel like puking. Oh, well. I will be drinking a lot more protein drink. This isn’t as bad as the 9 weeks when I had my jaw wired shut after the Motherfuckers tried to beat me to death in Tallahassee. But that had an end in sight. This really doesn’t.

Oh, well. Like I said, mixed news. I’ll be doing what I can to make it through this. I refuse to give up, though days like today are hard.

Hey, guys! I am at my oncologist’s today, and got some unexpected good news. It seems that the cancer that is directly in my esophagus is dead! I am not cancer free, because the cancer has metasticized and spread. There are other cancers still active in my system. But the one in my esophagus is dead! This means that there are treatment options available to deal with my not being able to swallow that were not available to me a few weeks ago. I am quite pleased. Now we need to be getting the piping mended. We are doing what we can. I thought you all would want to know.

And yes: Now I am going all Charles Johnson. The garbage is going out. It is stinking and filthy and it is going out.

Our middle class leaving solified their lowbrow area even more. Gentrification would have been great. But they won’t allow it. I felt bad for the old people around there but we couldn’t raise yung’ns around those fucktards. Now they prey among their own who have no options. Happens in lots of local communities, esp among the minorities where gangs operated and truly rule.

4 arrested after 30-person brawl at Gates Walmart
    Will Cleveland, @WillCleveland13 4:47 p.m. EDT July 7, 2016
    Nykia M. Brooks

Four people were arrested following a 30-person brawl at the Walmart in Gates Sunday night.

According to Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode, officers responded around 7 p.m. to the store at 2150 Chili Ave. for a fight inside the store.

VanBrederode said the fight started after two 17-year-olds, one from Chili and the other from Gates, made fun of a dress worn by a 24-year-old. “They were verbally harassing her,” VanBrederode said.

The incident escalated quickly and erupted into “a big melee,” VanBrederode said. He said both the victim and the suspects had big families there. The groups grabbed items off the shelves to use in the brawl.

In the middle of the brawl, Nykia Brooks, 17, of Chili, allegedly threw a can of food at a 52-year-old man and struck him in the head, causing bleeding.

    Caution: Language!

VanBrederode said people went into the sporting goods section of the store and got baseball bats to use in the fight. Officers recovered the bats before they could be used to hurt anyone. Extra police were called into deal with the situation.

Brooks is charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct, both violations. She was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $4,000 cash bail.

She is due back in Gates Town Court at 5:30 p.m. July 14.

Three others were charged with disorderly conduct and issued appearance tickets. One man who was arrested also has an outstanding shoplifting warrant from the Gates Walmart last December.

Surveillance footage is being reviewed and further arrests are pending, VanBrederode said.

It was the second violent incident that day at the Gates Walmart. Around 3 p.m. in the parking lot, a man was stabbed in the neck.

David A. Morris, 41, of Rochester was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies, following the altercation.

  21. Be a dick for Jeezuz says:

This is not related to hating Chunky, but I watched this special today on HLN which I believe is an affiliate of CNN. Anyhoo they did good job in this case. It was a special about Glen Cambell’s Altzheimers illness which I’m guessing this crowd here and maybe folks from Blogmoc might find interesting because we’re all of that age where we’re seeing our old folks and older friends age. All my parents and in-laws have died. The females had their marbles, the guys not. My FIL had Altzheimers and it progressed thru all stages until his body shut down. My dad had first T2 diabetes which led to heart disease which led to strokes which led to dementia. So it goes.

But the cool thing about this documentary was it showed Glen was still quite functional as a musician even far into the disease. There are some great footage of him being confused by a monitor failure (forgetting the key of Ab hah! :)) and then ripping off a fantastic guitar solo. His kids (great player/singers) are on each side to save him if need be. Very heart warming AND informative. His wife is a true hero. Gorgeous yet soldiering thru for him and taking this on like a fight when she could easily leave. At the end of the documentary is this last song which I gotta warn you is a tear jerker. It sounds like a McCartney Beatles tune.

I’m not sure where you find the whole documentary but if you get a chance, watch it.

    • Octopus says:

I saw that one awhile ago — very powerful. Alzheimer’s is rough. Only one person in my extended family has had it, my Dad’s brother. He had the version that robs you of your mind over the course of about two years, and then kills you, which is actually preferable in my opinion to the kind that leaves you a husk but doesn’t kill you.

Campbell was my dear departed mother-in-law’s favorite artist. I used to think he was stinky country cheese, but that was before I developed a liking for country music in general. He was a great performer.

      • rightymouse says:

The company I work for had a Board member who developed Altzheimers in his mid-60’s. I watched a vital, successful man deteriorate and die within 2 years. Very sad. 😦

        • Octopus says:

It’s incredible how quickly things can change for a human. I had a colleague who worked for an opposing firm, but who I learned a LOT from over a few short years, decide to get married in his late-40’s after being single his whole life, and loving it, from all appearances. He took his new bride, both of them madly in love, to a tropical paradise for their honeymoon. He contracted some kind of blood-borne illness from the mosquitos that sent him into sudden shock, and then a prolonged death that took several weeks. On his fu kin honeymoon. I was in shock myself, for a few weeks after his death. I used to talk to him nearly every day.

      • kbdabear says:

Before Glen Campbell became a solo artist on his own he was part of the highly regarded session musicians known as “The Wrecking Crew”. He was one of the guitarists on The Beach Boys Pet Sounds and even toured with them briefly.

Glen Campbell is an example of what successful musicians do, work until you physically can’t anymore, not claim that you walked away from it.

        • Octopus says:

Exactly, KB. Real musicians don’t just quit playing and start trolling the internet. I believe he was blackballed (racist!) from the industry after stealing the VW from Dookie Stick. Plus, he sucked at guitar. 😆

  22. Be a dick for Jeezuz says:

    Man what’s up with this?

I remember when she was on Fox And Friends she seemed to me to be the consummate and competent news lady especially when Doucy and Kilmeade were jokey and goofy. I think she was the smartest one of that crew and showed real news journalist chops. I feel bad for her if she felt like they didn’t respect her appropriately. Comments should never be made about a woman just because she’s beautiful unless she’s in a beauty contest. Otherwise grow up and realize she’s just a colleague doing her job. I work with some very beautiful young women and I just bite my tongue. They’re daughters, wives, sisters and moms and they don’t come to work to be treated like some piece of meat. Very disappointing if Doucy and Ailes made the comments she alleges.

    • Octopus says:

Totally agree, Dick. It sounds like Ailes was a pig, and not just to her. On the other hand, I’d take a wait-and-see approach on this case, only because Carlson’s contract was on the table, and her ratings had been sub-par.

It does make me wonder, though, if my Other Greek Wife named Tantaros was having similar difficulties with management. I expect we’ll be hearing her story, in the next few weeks or months.

      • Abu says:

Back in the day, goosing a gal was welcomed. What happened to women?
        / kidding

        • Octopus says:

My first “adult girlfriend” outside of college dalliances was an Armenian girl, the one who joined the Army to get away from me, but mostly her fucked-up family. She told me it was common for the young ladies of her community to get goosed by older males with a few drinks in them, and the young ladies were supposed to giggle and move away, without making any fuss. She ended up becoming a psychologist and counselor to traumatized vets, which I know only to my crack Facebook stalking skills. I also know she’s been married at least twice, and has a daughter with a lot of tattoos. Which is fine, and none of my business. I never goosed anybody in my life. My four ugly older sisters would have killed me on the spot, if they ever heard of such a thing. Never mind me sainted Ma, who would come back from the dead to smite me with a ping-pong paddle. Don’t think I’m kidding. She would.

        • Pakimon says:

I was never into goosing gals.

The thought of setting an unemployed, garage dwelling, Sterno drinking leech upon an unsuspecting woman makes me cringe. 😀

          • Octopus says:

That’s a different goose, and a horribler one. The one I’m talking about is practicing your bowling ball grip on a woman’s nether-region, by surprise. Also bad.

          • Bunk X says:

Now, I’d never met her before, but she walked up to me at the party, grypped me goose and said, “Pleased to meet you!” We had fun for years.

  23. Octopus says:

I’ve been reading some bullshit revisionist history this evening from dumbasses who think they know which seminal guitarists of the Invasion were truly important, and they keep ripping on Clapton. Shaddap, you silly surf-punkers! Clapton is one of the guitar gods, no matter how you slice it.

    • Octopus says:

He has matured, and his podcast is consistently good. I listen to a lot of podcasts and he’s top-five of all-time, for me. I also love “Goodfellas.” If it’s not my favorite movie of all time, it’s also top-five. Just watching this clip makes me want to watch the whole thing again.

  24. Abu says:

Good God, my Cubs just lost their 9th of 10. Can’t wait for hockey, Octo.

    • Octopus says:

It’s a very long season, Abu. The Cubbies were kicking ass early, and they might get it together enough to go on another run in the second half. I think they’ll make the playoffs, and then it’s one game at a time, and you only need three quality starters in the post-season, along with a decent bullpen. Don’t give up hope, as holes can be filled in the next couple of weeks with the deadline deals.

You can see I’m an experienced rationalizer, with a long history of “wait until next year” in my baseball blood. For instance, I still think my Tigers can become an elite Series threat, with the addition of another starter and another long reliever, both of which we have the resources to obtain. At the same time, if Zimmerman comes back from his neck-strain, and Norris from his oblique-strain without any long-term problems, we have both of those covered. The emergence of Fullmer is such a great tonic to the overall pitching staff. Verlander is back to being his old competitive self, though not as overwhelming as he was in his heyday. Pelfrey battles, every start, despite getting zero run-support for whatever reason.

Looking forward to the second half of the season. I love baseball, in August, September and October. Give me a semi-competitive team to root for, and I become kind of obsessed.

Oh, and as for hockey, the Wings struck out in the off-season. They need a few young guys to make major steps forward, or else they’re going to be worse and might miss the playoffs for the first time in over two decades. I was slightly giddy about getting Stamkos, or Lucic at the least, but we got Nielson and old-ass Vanek. Ya-hawn! We need a top-4 d-man, and a proven scorer.

      • kbdabear says:

Well, the baseball gods are trying to keep my Mets down. Wright out for the year, Harvey out for the year, Wheeler still isn’t ready to return, Syndergaard pulled from last night’s game with a “tired arm”, Duda still out, Cespedes banged up, Matz pitching with a bone spur, d’Arnaud missed 2 months with a bad shoulder, Conforto looked fantastic in April then forgot how to hit. Lagares playing with a bad thumb.

Oh, and ESPN lamented how the Cubs were “a little banged up” as an excuse why they got swept by the Mets last weekend.

        • Octopus says:

Hate to keep sayin’ it, but “that’s baseball.” It’s an incredibly long season, and you can play .500 ball most of the way, as long as you turn it up a notch in September. It’s all about having just enough depth, a few good starters, and one great closer.

I was sad when we didn’t get Cespedes back, but Upton looks like a nice replacement in the outfield now that he’s gotten over his horrible early slump. When JD Martinez gets back in August, we’re going to be stacked in the outfield, and at the plate. Moya is a dangerous bat, but he’s really bad in the field. Oy.

I really want to trade a couple of prospects for a solid starting pitcher, and go for it this year. Nobody has called to ask me for my general managing expertise. My number is in the phone book, but who uses a phone book anymore?

          • kbdabear says:

I’m always amazed that the MLB owners don’t realize the millions they could save by firing their GM’s and front office staffs and instead take trade and free agent advice from the thousands of keyboard GM’s in the Major League Trade Rumors comments or just go on Twitter!

Or even note the trades advocated by callers to sports radio talk shows….

“Soler, Alcantara, Rodon for Chapman, whaddyathink! I’ll hang up and listen now”

          • Octopus says:

I agree. The callers are SO knowledgeable about everything, including the salaries deserved by players, and trading a passel of minor leaguers for a superstar that will solve everything. I get a lot of laffs from sports talk radio, here in Detroit. I love the way every day is 99% dependent on what happened the day before. 😆

3 Killed, Including 9-Year-Old Boy, in San Bernardino
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Jul 9, 2016, 1:58 PM ET

Three people, including a 9-year-old boy and his father, were shot dead outside a liquor store in San Bernardino.

San Bernardino Police Sgt. Vicki Cervantes said Saturday that the shooter was waiting for the victims outside the store late Friday.

When they walked out, the shooter approached them from behind, pulled a gun and fatally shot them all, she said.

The victims were identified as 25-year-old Samathy Mahan, 26-year-old Travon Lamar Williams and his son, 9-year-old Travon Williams.

The boy’s mother, Ebony Newman, was weeping at the scene of the shooting Saturday, telling KCAL-TV that “he was just a little boy.”

“He was my world, and somebody took that away because they were angry,” she yelled through tears. “That’s not right. He didn’t get a chance to live a life.”

While the motive was under investigation, Cervantes said authorities believe Mahan was the intended target. He’s a documented gang member who was recently paroled, she said.

The boy’s grandfather, Steven Newman, told The Los Angeles Times that the child’s father was not affiliated with any gangs and didn’t know how he knew Mahan.

“Travon’s dad was no gang-banger,” he said. “He was a dancer and a rapper.”

The shooter fled on foot, and police were asking for the public’s help to identify him. They released grainy black-and-white surveillance photos of the man partially obscured by a hood.

I haven’t donated a pfennig to Stranahan, ever. Nor have I assisted in Chunky McDumbth’s continual begathon, now going five bowls strong, and still netting less than the average hobo scrounges up in a week. Maybe if McDumbth proposed the funding of a movie, to be filmed entirely by His Royal Blubbering Idiot on his Iphone, detailing the racist underpinnings of everyone and everything. He could be the next Michael Moore, only moore fat.

    • ISpeakJive says:

The way they rounded them up, made them change into orange jumpsuits and put them in with regular guys doing time and didn’t even read them their rights or let them call a lawyer, does sound kinda fucked up. But haven’t we all learned from the movies that you really DO NOT wanna go to prison in the south?

But Deray is a happy man today. He’s an actual martyr now. The only thing that would have made it better is if he had to do a couple of hours on the chain-gang.

I have to say it’s nearly comical how the Clinton’s bilked their liberal supporters, charging them double or more for speaking fees, plane rides that would have been an hour’s drive, outrageous hotel bills and ridiculously expensive meals. And then screening all questions to kill any spontenaity. Something never done with all the former Presidential speakers including Reagan. And this is the LA Times so they aren’t even mentioning the, no doubt countless co-eds Preezydunce Grab Azz debauched when he could ditch the Shrillbeast.

  49. Be a dick for Jeezuz says:

Wow. Looks like Japan’s the first to try Ben Bernanke’s “Helicopter Money”. It’s like QE except no one gets paid back. It’s very fancy sounding. Much better than “we’re flat busted broke and lending ourselves our own printed money didn’t work.”

    Here’s a good chart.

Some say it’s called helicopter money because the feds (at the BoJ in this case) are going to figuratively fly around in a helicopter dumping money out willy nilly. I think it’s really because the chart looks a bit like a helicopter. At any rate they’re trying to get some inflation evidently. Alls I know is governments can get themselves in impossibly stupid financial debt situations with mountains of unfunded liabilities. And the Feds will think up some idiotic tactic totally lacking in character or self-discipline to delay fiscal armageddon. This can obviously go on for years (and has!).

I don’t know what’s going on with the new Pokemon craze, other than it’s an app that has nerds walking around in circles all over the place, soon to self-regulate (herd-thinning) by walking themselves into traffic. It inspires me, though I’m still not clear on the mission. But we will prevail!
