How do you know, Charles?

The paranoid shut in makes a huge accusation about his namesake.

Tacker

I suspect Charles has done this in the past.

He used to pull that same shit with LGF2.0, aka Blogmocracy, aka The Mothership. “Don’t even open a cache file! It’s virus-laden!”

    Charles, you’re a mess.

Fatso is such a lying a-hole. Bah..

Tomorrow we take the overnight train to northern Thailand where daughter & family are stationed now. We are doing this instead of flying so that hubby & son can see the countryside. 🙂

    • Because olo says:

Speaking of Thailand, I just got this big bottle of sweet and hot sauce from there, and now, I’ll never be able to have an omelette again without it. I hope Winco doesn’t stop carrying it.

    • ISpeakJive says:

Are you going to Chaing Mai? Beautiful country. We rode elephants across a river and took them to the mud baths and let the babies frolic and then washed them off in the river. So cute. Got sprayed head to toe, or course. Then sat by the river and watched kids lighting those papers lanterns and letting them float off. Such a great trip. Oh, and we played golf on one of the prettiest courses ever. Every player had a lady caddie that drove the cart and held an umbrella over you so you wouldn’t get too hot and fanned you with a paper fan. 🙂

      • rightymouse says:

Yes, daughter’s husband is stationed in Chiang Mai. We’re going to do the whole tourist thing while there – elephants, petting the tigers, etc. 🙂
Then we’re flying east to a place on the Laotian border where another friend lives. He was my first boss in Bangkok at GM military sales many, may years ago. He retired up north.
        We’re having such a great time!! 🙂

      • rightymouse says:

Had dinner at an old friend’s house last night. He’s a retired executive of a large car manufacturer. I first met him when he was in sales for GM military sales in Bangkok. We haven’t seen each other for over 30 years. Felt like yesterday.

  4. Octopus says:

Nothing about the ladyboys, yet. Oh, well.

    • rightymouse says:

Lol! Have only seen one so far. 🙂

      • Octopus says:

This is what they look like, according to the google. 😉

        • rightymouse says:

They can be quite beautiful. Many a fight has broken out when unsuspecting guys feel up their hot date.

          • Octopus says:

I don’t think the “gals” should try to trick anyone, into thinking they’re just regular gals. Got that thing, you should let the trick know what he’s getting. Lots of customers want it, apparently. Don’t waste it on the angry drunk guys.

Note: The ladyboys are known for being a bit shady, and not above taking money from whoever they can wrangle into the alley. Let the buyer beware, I guess. No, I have no immediate experience, or desire for same. I do like to read, so you gather some stuff. 😉

          • rightymouse says:

            Octo – it’s complicated…. 🙂

          • Octopus says:

It’s very complicated. I don’t envy either side of these tricky encounters. Prostitution is a rough gig for any girl, but add in the tranny stuff, and it’s more difficile than al-jibrah.

  5. Octopus says:

    Thanks, Blackhawks! 🙂

    • Abu says:

My guys gave hope to you and Paki. My Hawks were up 6 – 0 half way through the game and took their foot off the pedal. The Hawks looked like they were taking time off the clock in the 2nd period. Being polite has no place in hockey. Boston’s last 4 games are at home but something tells me they are done.
Stamkos is having surgery so hopefully Philly or Det gets them in round 1.

      • Octopus says:

I would LOVE for the Wings to get either TB or Florida in the first round. We would still be underdogs in either case, and God knows what kind of goaltending we’d get, but the Wings have proven all season they can step up their game against good teams. They can also stink out any joint, so there’s that. It’s not a perfect mix of young and old, here. The old guys are too ouchy, and the young guys are too green, or just not that great. Still, every couple of games, they come out and play like world-beaters. Detroit can steal a series, as they very nearly did against the eventual Cup-finalist Lightning last year, and would have, if we hadn’t lost two key players to injury and suspension for game 7.

  6. kbdabear says:

Opening Day is here, Pirates beat the Cards this afternoon 4-1, Jays at Rays at 4 pm, Mets meet the Royals tonight in a rematch of the World Series.

That’s my way of chillin’ out from news and politics.

Toot says he chills out from politics on weekends with music and art but all I see is the same “unhealthy obsessions” with Ginger and Breitbart (and no doubt artisanal cheese sandwiches)

Come on Toot, it’s been a week since you tweeted Todd Rundgren or some other 70s band so you could bait your followers into asking “did you ever play with them?”

  7. kbdabear says:

33 days to go until the anniversary of Toot’s begging bowl. 34.4 percent to his goal of 10K

Come on Toot, break those stories about Breitbart and Ginger that everyone is dying to read!

  8. kbdabear says:

Now that it’s baseball season, let’s do a uniform number countdown like baseball blogs to until the May 6 anniversary of the begging bowl

Matt Harvey kicks off Mets opening game and the countdown to the Begging Bowl anniversary

    • Octopus says:

I’m kind of geeked for the start of baseball season, too. I like that the Tigers are flying under everyone’s radar this year, after last season’s ugly collapse to the basement. I see a very different team coming up north this spring, that will contend with anyone if they stay healthy.

This lineup is going to do some damage:
      I. Kinsler, 2B
      J. Upton, LF
      M. Cabrera, 1B
      V. Martinez, DH
      J. Martinez, RF
      N. Castellanos, 3B
      J. McCann, C
      J. Iglesias, SS
      A. Gose, CF

The pitching staff should be much improved, too. Play ball! 🙂

      • Abu says:

I like your lineup, Octo. Hope they pound the White Sox!

My Chicago Cubs, play a strange exhibition game in Anaheim against the Angels tonight. Then tomorrow begin regulation play at the same place vs. same team. Why?

        The Lineup:
        (S) Fowler CF
        (R) Heyward RF
        (L) Rizzo 1B
        (R) Bryant 3B
        (L) Schwarber C
        (R) Soler LF
        (S) Zobrist 2B
        (R) Russell SS
SP: Cy Arrieta, Jon Lester, John Lackey, Jason Hammel, & Kyle Hendricks.

        Schwinnnng!

Schwarber and David Ross will catch once every week or so and Miguel Montero will catch the balance.Schwarber will replace Solar in left when not behind the plate and the opposition starts a righty.

Of course my travels pale in comparison to exotic Thailand. However I’m returning from three days at an AirBnB in Flagstaff/Grand Canyon (trained out on Amtrak) and two days in Vegas (drove) where we stayed at the Mirage and were comped tickets (inside connection) to the new Beatles cirque du soleil show. Flying back now. Kids rode the coaster on top of the building. They had two of their besties along (that’s my twins and two friends) and all appeared to have lots of fun.

I’ve never been to the CG bfore. It’s spectacular!

  11. Octopus says:

I suspected it. Thanks for the confirmation.

Nope, hasn’t budged in almost a month. Time for another $10 “anonymous donation”

      • pineapple says:

        Which will it be?

        1. An anonymous donation of already donated money.

        OR

        2. A fictitious “made up name” donation of already donated money.

        OR

        3. An actual donation by a LGF lap dog who feels guilty…. for instance, Furious Burrka, RWC, Viscous Slobushka, or Tele-pothead-skiguy?

One of these will surface soon.

        • kbdabear says:

Maybe on May 6 we can make $1 donations under names like “Phat Fuk” and other made up names with the note; “We hope this will help you pay back George Duke’s estate for the Used VW Loan”

  14. kbdabear says:

It snowed over the weekend in the Northeast, so what’s your point Toot?

    • KGB says:

25 g-ddamned degrees here in Western New York, and the ground, trees, and roofs are all covered with snow. Going down to a low of 17 tonight. In April, Chunk. It’s not some blip, either. Snow in the forecast for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. When will you tweet that?

Eat a big supper then smoke your night time pain relieving smoky thing.

Trust me. Smoke your pain relieving meds then try to eat and it does not work. You wake up at 2am craving tuna. (good thing I has some last night)

Oh and after tuna I ate cookies and ice cream…

    Eaten supper… taking meds now.

Looking forward to a long night of deep sleep.

LOL why? Gonna wake up at 3am when the Mexicans start loud music.

  17. Octopus says:

Last night, the incredible Lena Dunham flashed her vagina on “Girls.” Why did I watch it? Because I’ve been watching that train-wreck of a show since the beginning. I’m not proud. It’s fascinatingly horrifying, it’s so bad.

I happened across a pic of Lena’s “sister,” this evening: https://www.yahoo.com/sy/ny/api/res/1.2/bUYvtWwYQY_YPQXKIMmYvA–/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjtzbT0xO3c9ODAw/http://40.media.tumblr.com/9dfc206cd09ddcbf90eff7d2dd172902/tumblr_inline_nvk3grTGm21rpqds5_540.jpg

What’s up with that, you may well ask. Well, don’t call Them “that.” They are genderqueer, and They refer to themselves with they/them pronouns. They are bugfuck, in short. 😆

We’re in Chiang Mai at daughter’s house. It’s lovely and the grand kids are so excited. 🙂 The train took 12 hours overnight. Hubby was distressed when he saw a slum for the first time.

    • rightymouse says:

Just got back from shopping and lunch. Food was fabulous and being with daughter and grandkids is such a blessing. 🙂

    • KGB says:

Made several visits to Thailand between 1996-2002 but I always headed south from Bangkok. I wish just once I’d headed up to Chiang Mai… Nah! Who am I kidding? I’d much rather sit on a beach.

The first time I went I had been living in Seoul just prior. After that shit hole and a few days of Bangkok the night train down south was like a dream. Yeah, you rumble through some slums for the first half hour, but then as it got dark the train started moving through countryside. It was the first time I’d been out of a metropolis in a few months and it felt like I could finally breath again. From time to time we’d pass by fields lit up with fireflies. It was magical.

  20. Octopus says:

Really out ahead of the curve on the Gamergate controversy, Chunky! It’s a real scoop, man. As Gus once breathlessly advised you, “Post it! Put it up NOW!”
