Moscow bans George Soros funded group – upsetting the Obama administration, Charles Johnson will cry and will probably blame (take your pick) Vlaams Belang!, Pam Geller, Rand Paul, the Mossad, Chuck C. Johnson, or Glenn Greenwald

Why does the Times of Israel refer to George Soros (a former Kapo in all but name) as a “Jewish-American billionaire” when he is working to destroy the Israel? He is no more a Jew than is Naomi Klein,  Tony Kushner or Max Blumenthal. Soros is pure evil (as a 14 year old boy  in Budapest he helped inventory Jewish homes for the Nazis) and as someone on Blogmocracy once referred to him as “a James Bond movie villain”.  I am starting to like Vladimir Putin more and more each day. Mr. Toot would love for Soros to fund his (Toot’s) moribund blog, but Dr. Evil  would not even piss on the best parts of Little Green Footballs.

Moscow bans George Soros funds as ‘threat’ to security

Chief prosecutor says Jewish-American billionaire’s pro-democracy foundations undermine the Russian constitution

by Stuart Winer

Russia on Monday banned two foundations funded by the progressive Jewish-American philanthropist George Soros, claiming they posed a “threat to national security” and were undermining the Russian constitution.

The prosecutor general of Russia said in a statement that the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation were to be put on a list of “undesirable” organizations, Reuters reported.

“It was found that the activity of the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation represent a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation and the security of the state,” the statement said.

The prosecutor did not offer further details as to why the foundations were labeled a threat.

Under the conditions of the ban, the foundations are prohibited from funding any Russian organizations, The Guardian reported.

The Hungarian-born Soros said he hoped the ban would be lifted.

“We are confident that this move is a temporary aberration; the aspirations of the Russian people for a better future cannot be suppressed and will ultimately succeed,” he said.

The Open Society Foundations said in response that it had only ever worked for the benefit of Russian law and citizen rights.

“Contrary to the Russian prosecutor’s allegations, the Open Society Foundations have, for more than a quarter-century, helped to strengthen the rule of law in Russia and protect the rights of all,” Open Society said in a statement.

“In the past, our efforts have been welcomed by Russian officials and citizens, and we regret the changes that have led the government to reject our support to Russian civil society and ignore the aspirations of the Russian people,” it continued.

Earlier this year, Soros called for more Western funding to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression in the region, Reuters reported.

Soros, who survived the Nazi occupation of Budapest and went on to become a self-made billionaire while living in the US, established the Open Society Foundations in 1979. According to its website, its mission is “to strengthen the rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and a diversity of opinions; democratically elected governments; and a civil society that helps keep government power in check.”

“… and a civil society that helps keep government power in check.”

Supporting Obama and funding all those “grassroots” pseudo-movements is in direct contradiction to this, George. Should I be surprised that you’re a liar?

  2. Because olo says:

    Pro-democracy, my butt.

  3. Because olo says:

Regarding the subject of Walter, and who “ran him off,” I will accept a little bit of blame for the first tiff of his latest visit. He posted a link to his newsletter job, and I jokingly said, “Get a haircut, you hippie!” This prompted a flurry of f-bombs in my direction, and I apologized for his lack of humor. Apparently he was not appeased, as he was ultra-touchy when I made a later comment about how his tale of the guttersnipes throwing marbles at tourists reminded me of the kid finger-bangin’ Chunky in front of the mosque, lo these many bloody moons ago. Walt went ballistic, thinking I was saying his writing was on par with Chunky’s paranoid raving. Of course, it’s not, it’s a cut above that. I apologized again. Walter was off in a huff to Hot Air, where he was soon to denigrate their sparse readership and informed them he “preferred a broader audience for his journalistic stylings.”

This whole deal reminded me of a guy I met about 15 years ago, on a hockey forum with national scope. One day it was suggested that we all post pics of ourselves, just to see with whom we’d been chatting and brawling. This particular gent was a very serious man, who ran a commercial pump and tank company. His pic showed a very stern-looking, burly giant of a man, wearing a short-sleeved shirt and a very colorful Hawaiian tie. I made a little joking comment about the tie, which was something I was used to doing at work — any tie with a lot of pizzazz drew some jokes, in that office. Well, this guy went off, like I’d insulted his mother. He never really got over it, and stopped talking to me. Which just goes to show, some people are crippled. And dickish.

Come back, Walter. It was just a misunderstanding. 🙂

    • pineapple says:

Better yet Walter……. (with all due respect) don’t come back you backstabbing prick.

      • Abu says:

What pineapple said. I’ve never had any use for Walter L. Newman. (he didn’t like that particular shot, IIRC) Attention whore.

        • Octopus says:

We’ve always had an open-door policy here — it takes a LOT even to get the red-pencil, and much more to get the stick. Not sure anyone’s gotten the ban-stick, but somebody must have. Walter was always a prickly old coot, but that’s not a hanging-offense. Just a few hours in the stocks, is all. 🙂

          • Arachne says:

The ban stick here is usually reserved for over-the-top vulgar ad hominem attacks. We had one guy who make disgusting references to a poster’s mother, among other things. We had one idiot who came here with a “nic” that employed a perjorative (n word).

Customarily I just take out the red pen when possible – but a girl’s gotta sleep and a girl’s gotta work so I pass the red pen off to others,

We are VERY slow to kick people off the blog here. It’s usually a cumulative thing. We did not kick Frankie, Stabby or the Doormatt off – they apparently left of their own volition when they didn’t get the desired rise out of everyone.

          • Octopus says:

Our trolls have been really weak-sauce, when you think about it. Just lame. Like Chunky, trying to troll a popular conservative on Twitter, or begging for pennies and getting zilch.

A good troll can angry up the blood, and help keep you young and interested. I would welcome an accomplished troll, with something to say besides “Ron Jeremy is ******* your wife and daughters.” Doormat showed early promise, but fizzled quickly. Older libturds didn’t get to be old libturds by having a lot on the ball, intellectually.

        Kick ’em in the meatballs.

      • Because you're dumb says:

Those people are gunz nutz. Amazing they could kill so many with flintlocks.

    • Arachne says:

Farooq Saeeed is one of the suspects.
They were wearing body armor and IED’s are believed to be in the building.
Tell us where they got the guns first, Shitbag
Tell us where they got the body armor
Tell us how they got here.
And then tell me again how fucking PROUD you are that Jerry Brown can’t wait to import more of these dirtbags.

One way of looking at it, is that it’s a tax-dodge. 😆

  13. pineapple says:

This goes against the Amish being involved I guess. Not sure of its validity at this point.

      Remember… this is all UNCONFIRMED.

    • Arachne says:

O’Malley is already at work blaming the NRA.
California has some of the toughest gun laws in the country Marty. Where’d they get the guns. Oh, look, they’re Middle Eastern.
You’re quick to blame the NRA? You will now do somersaults to claim it isn’t Islamic Terrorism.

  14. Maybe I’m jumping the gun, but this has ISIS written all over it.

    • Because olo says:

If so, we’re going to be seeing a whole heck of a lot more of these, real quick like.

      • Arachne says:

Yes, we are. Because these dirtbags know that dumbass liberals like Fuckface Johnson and Obumshit and Clintloon will now be working overtime to make sure the rest of the citizenry is as unarmed as they can make them.

    • Arachne says:

And it’s something like THREE individuals. 14 dead, 14 wounded.
Want to grab that handful of M&M’s NOW, Johnson?

  16. Because olo says:

    • pineapple says:

Take one sentence out of the whole press conference and focus on that…… make a tweet out of it.

The cops are walking on eggshells about who did it so they have to make statements like this to counterbalance and appease everyone.

Why is it that the public doesn’t trust the media?

TP name is about right…… toilet paper.

    • Doppel milyo says:

      Farook you Charles !

    • Arachne says:

You mean they didn’t ask YOU to be on the show, Fartbag? Oooo…..SMELL the jealousy.

      • Because olo says:

Cnn: Well, Mr. Johnson. What’s your take on this situation?

Toot: Well, we all know that the right wing dominates this milyo, so this has to be a militia milyo shooter from the NRA milyo. Y’know?

Cnn: Thank you for your incisive insight, Mr. Toot … err … Johnson.

  19. rightymouse says:

Really? Any reason why that bothers you? Jerk.

Axe Rahmbo & Governor Moonbeam how well gun control works. Asshole.

  23. pineapple says:

Another police press conference just concluded.

  24. JimboXL says:

Coordinated mass shooting, must be those white 80 year old nuns again.

  25. JimboXL says:

Look at all those black lives matter supporters actively searching for the killers and trying to protect citizens, oh, nope that’s the police. Did anyone tweet the hashtag for help when the bullets started flying?

  26. rightymouse says:

Charles was raised Catholic. May God have mercy on his soul. What an effing bigoted ass-hole.

    • pineapple says:

When Fatso does this he forgets that Muslims pray a lot… like 5 times a day a lot…… I wonder how Furious_Burka feels about his term “useless prayers”.

Viscous_Slobushka also prays, being an orthodox Jew.

Neither one of these bitches will say a thing.

    • kbdabear says:

Karma! Moral Arc of the Universe!!

    • Because you're dumb says:

I see but your appeasements, apologies, excuses and lies in defense of treacherous Muslims are so “useful”. To the terrorists, of course.

  27. Hey Charles I’m saying FAROOQ SAEED!

    FAROOQ SAEED!

  28. swamprat says:

Walter is ok with me. He blew up, but no body is perfect.

  29. kbdabear says:

Like the last 5 days you’ve spent tweeting that all people who oppose abortion have blood on their hands?

  30. kbdabear says:

Toot is going to have to change his narrative from “kill all the white male Christians” to “the Right is going to be spreading hate over this”

  31. swamprat says:

    Farook Saeed.
    Kinda Atallah.

So tell me again how stupid Palin is and just how awful Bush was.
Gun control is what we need. Strict gun control. Just like France.

I wonder what the spin will be.

Christians persecuting muslims = snide remarks, nasty looks, attempted legal restrictions.

Muslims persecuting Christians = gruesome beheadings, women raped, people shot.

Tell me again about how awful Christian influence has degraded our society; I keep forgetting.

  32. pineapple says:

I think we can say confirmed now.

    • pineapple says:

It’s being reported now that Sayeed Farook’s father said he was a devout Muslim.

Fatso and his LGF lapdogs are so disappointed that it wasn’t John Smith the devout Christian.

  33. swamprat says:

It was a “mass shooting”, so gun control is the answer.

    and there is this….

“Syed Farook” sounds like a Hindu name.

Actually, a probable “nom-de-boom”. The real Dr. Syed Farooq is a gent who collects polo ponies, antique cars, and Koran manuscripts. He is a fan of Mark Twain

He seems to be a man who sees Islam as a way of peace.
    Quoted here:
“He recounts how he convinced an important personality of Dehradun, Mr S C Jain about the importance of slaughter of animals on Eidul Adha, which was a message to mankind that through Prophet Abraham, God put a ban on human slaughter forever.”

“A society will called cultured only if it gives due respect to women and they are also given freedom of movement without fear of assault.”

    his laundry list shows

    Medical check up camps
    Camps for the Aged
    Women Empowerment
    Campaign against Tobacco
    AIDS Prevention and Awareness
Fight against Disability and rehabilitation of disabled
    Urdu Promotion
    Fight against Crimes against Women
    Minority Rights
Freedom Fighters’ rights (civil rights, I’d wager)
    Fight against Female Infanticide

…so it is a Hindi name. The name of a famous more-than-moderate Islamic Iintellectual. A gentleman.
