Black Panthers were a good cause!

It amazes me how the race obsession over at LGF overlooks obvious racists. The Black panthers who formed in the Mid 60’s were the answer to the KKK. Just like their White counter parts they had a Black supremacist ideology and later on adopted the Black Supremacist Nation of Gods and Earth ideology commonly known as 5 percenters.  Later the Panthers would turn into a criminal enterprise that worked in collusion with Communist Cuba’s intelligence. By any standard, they were not fighting for a good cause.

Ghost of a Flea responds to Gus802’s speculation about what the reaction would be to an armed Black militia. This commentator claims the Black Panthers were a good cause.

Black Panthers

If a group of Blacks formed a Militia to fight back against the criminal thugs who are parasites on their community and to defend their Constitutional rights as Americans, I would 100% support them. The Black Panthers do not meet this criteria and actually spawned some of the criminal elements that sadly are damaging Black neighborhoods. They were no different than the KKK or Neo-Nazis groups. There was nothing good about this vile and racist organization.

Sadly it seems Charles and his gang give passes to non-white Nazis, racist white Democrats and the racist Black Panthers. This inconstant stance by Charles on the race issue which he has staked so much of his tattered credibility on is why no one takes him serious.

David Horowitz, in “Radical Son,” describes his intimate experiences with the Black Panthers, including the murder of one of his friends, which ultimately led to him re-evaluating all of the left-wing gibberish he’d been raised on and fervently believed in his youth. The Panthers may have been formed as a response to ugly racial oppression, but they very quickly devolved into a criminal organization funded by selling drugs to the very people they were supposed to be trying to “free.”

I guess “Flea Brain” has a very short memory. Like armed Black Panther THUGS intimidating voters in Philadelphia. She/He/It also might want to Google “Oakland, Calfiornia” in read about the Black Panthers hastening the City’s decline in the 60’s. Look up Zebra killings. Look up Symbionese Liberation Army.

And then shut the fuck up.

    • Captain Death says:

The Black Panthers were formed in Oakland California. What “oppression” was going on in Oakland?

      • Arachne says:

None. They destroyed that city. Of course, the populace electing a serious of dip-shit mayors, including Jerry Brown, hasn’t helped. The current one is bat-shit crazy.

      • Octopus says:

By “oppression” I was referring to the general state of race affairs in this country in the decades leading up to the formation of the BPP. They weren’t birthed in a vacuum, though they did come to suck big-time.

The Wiki on Horowitz’s friend typifies the kind of evil organization they were:

        Murder of Betty van Patter[edit]
Panther leader Elaine Brown hired Betty Van Patter in 1974 as a bookkeeper. Van Patter had previously served as a bookkeeper for Ramparts magazine, and was introduced to the Panther leadership by David Horowitz, who had been Ramparts editor and a major fundraiser and board member for the Panther school.[95] Later that year, after a dispute with Brown over financial irregularities,[96] Van Patter went missing on December 13, 1974. Some weeks later, her severely beaten corpse was found on a San Francisco Bay beach.

There was insufficient evidence for police to charge anyone with van Patter’s murder but the Black Panther Party leadership was “almost universally believed to be responsible.”[97][98]

Huey Newton later confessed to a friend that he had ordered Van Patter’s murder, and that Van Patter had been tortured and raped before being killed.[99] [91]

Speaking of lefty radicals suffering from severe cognitive dissonance, I’ve been watching Marc Maron’s show again — he still interests me as a comic, because he’s genuinely distressed and about my age. He’s still suffering from the same libturd-illusions I’ve abandoned, but I can still relate to him as a person, unlike most shallow comics who just parrot the usual lefty talking-points. I also like his interviews on his podcast, “WTF.

This video helps to explain where his life went wrong, and I think might have resonance with a lot of lefties who never grow out of it. The bitterness, the blaming of others, etc.

Well…ain’t we the chatty ones this morning! 🙂

I’d love to know what Flea considers “good reasons”. Utter nonsensical leftist garbage I’m sure.

Isn’t that basically the purpose of his entire life now? To be “relevant” when the targets of his ceaseless stalking take notice?

Hey, Stalker Charles! How ’bout a little love for the “stalkers” at the “hate blog”???

      • trebob says:

Charles et al, are always thinking of us. We live in the undamaged part of their heads (rent free).

And it’s a “virulent” hate blog, not to be confused with those warm and fuzzy hate blogs. Stay with the program!

  6. Captain Death says:

Guilt ridden white liberals used to point to the Panthers “free breakfast” programs for school kids in Oakland as proof of their good intentions. Fuck that. The Nazis had a “Winter Help” charity too.

  7. Doppel milyo says:

if Gus, Charles or any of the other lilly white fairy progressive pussywimps saw a black guy in a beret walking towards them they would cross the street

if they were at a red light and said soul brother crossed the street, click would go their door locks

These “trigger warnings” are all the rage now, on the Lefty Professor side of Lunacy University. It doesn’t surprise me that it has come to this, as there have been precursors and warnings aplenty about the shitstorm of political correctness coming down hard. Well, it’s here. Wow, it’s really here.

Porky the Wonder Gamer will know he’s really made it when he posts something so pointedly stupid that Malkin and the Twitchy Team take it up. The problem for him is that he blocks any conservatives from responding to his tweets so they won’t be answering him.

Typical dysfunctional lefty thinking. The only difference they can sniff out between groups of people is the color of their skin. What a bunch of caveman racists.

Anyone who can’t tell the difference between the Tea Pary and the Black Panthers isn’t very bright. I moved to the South 30+ years ago and saw KKK-ers standing in their robes and handing out literature on the streets. Felt like I had stepped back in time 50 years. Scary, hateful looking guys. Then some locals tried to convince me that they weren’t so bad…that the KKK didn’t just harass blacks, Jews, Catholics and anyone else on their lists of undesirables. They claimed that the KKK were like social police and would straighten out guys who beat their wives, drank up their paychecks, neglected their kids, or generally stepped out of line.

    Right.

So, now you have lefty losers who are basically making the same argument for the Black Panthers. What both groups are essentially saying is that they agree in spirit with the group, but find it beneath them to join in the active work of the organization. So, they’re content to let the group function, as long as it doesn’t cost them anything, except the breath to condone and justify them. Cowards.

But the Tea Party is teh bad crazy…

There is nothing “mind-warping” about surfing. It’s a pleasant pastime for truculent youth, occasionally dangerous, depending on where you surf. There’s a lot of drug use and anti-social behavior wrapped up in it, including beat-downs of “outsiders.” I know this from my friend Warren, who grew up surfing in California before coming to Michigan to teach high school Earth Science in the ’70’s. He prevailed upon me to watch the “classic” movie, “Endless Summer,” and I found it rather boring.

    Nothing racist here…

  25. DudeBro says:

    I wonder who this describes?

Greenwald: At least for me, back then, that was astonishing to watch. It’s one thing to strongly suspect that people are simply adopting whatever views their party’s leader takes. But this was like the perfect laboratory experiment to prove that: Obama literally took exact opposition positions in a heated debate within a three week period and many Democrats defended him when he was on one side of the debate and then again when he switched to the other side.

That is an amazing phenomenon, the way dim-bulb libturds have decided that no matter what the Unicorn Messiah is saying today, it is the Correct Thing. The Smart Thing. The Best Thing. And anyone who opposes his opinion is a racist hater, a wingnut, an insane person.

Dear Fatass is the archetype of this sorry breed.

The comments under that article are precious, btw. So much confusion! So many fingers pointing in all directions, accusing each other of the basest motives and, of course, racism. You have to laugh.
