  1. Pakimon says:

This whole “Greenwald links to DoD and Chunkles flips out” episode would make a great Hitler downfall parody. 😆

  2. rightymouse says:

It’s hilarious that Charlie calls this a hate site. Ummmm…Charlie…you need to look at the horrific crap you and your posters spew every day on LGF. It’s utterly pathetic.

    • buzzsawmonkey says:

I always regarded this as a sneer site, not a “hate site.”

      • Arachne says:

Buzzy! Where have you BEEN! I’ve been all over the blogs looking for you! You need to do “This Land is Your Land” in honor of Clive Bundy!

  3. rightymouse says:

Oh, and Charles! You’ve been poking Greenwald with nastiness almost every day on Twitter. Payback can be a bitch. Quit your public whining and sniveling and deal with it like a man.

    • Arachne says:

But it’s not STALKING — no, no nothing like that. Wow, Fatass’s followers didn’t even venture over here in the middle of the night to leave nasty racist remarks that they could capture to prove their points. Wow, you must REALLY have pissed off Killgore, Fatass, that he won’t even do his tried and true smearing tactic to bolster your claim. I figured I was going to sign in this morning and have to sharpen Ye Olde Editing Pen and go to work. Surprise! Nada.

I remember the pre-2008 Fatass. Remember how he’d be an adult about a left-wing slam and just post it and let it go? Now he’s in full meltdown. I do notice also that he’s not talking about incredible amounts of traffic to LGF (although maybe they’re all still waiting for it to load) or the incredible support (5 retweets? Seriously? I got 20 alone for captioning a photo of Bill and Hillary the Arkansas John and Yoko).

Folks are directed to the Boiler Room Hits at the left. That’s the REAL Chuck, folks. A duplicitous, smearing, lying little shit. I thought I had posted this on the previous thread, but I didn’t see it – and even though I disagree with some of them politically, I wonder if all the left and right persona and blogs that Fartface has employed cherry-picking to smear are today sitting at the computers, laughing their asses off at this and saying “Karma, dude. Karma.”

I can hear Moulitsas laughing over in Berkeley while I’m sitting here in my office.

      • rightymouse says:

Looks like he was up first thing this morning to tweet his petulant angst. Such a big baby. 😆

  4. Medchemmer says:

What are we supposed to be hating for this to be a “hate site”, because I can’t remember. I thought we just goofed on Chuckles’ fails.

  5. rightymouse says:

And he’s off and running this morning. Six whiny tweets in a row. What a pussy.

    • Because J. R. Ewing says:

      • Arachne says:

Duns – no one said it DID. It was Johnson who initially smeared people by saying the number of times they were MENTIONED in the manifesto was somehow proof of their complicity in this act, drawing on the ThinkProgress report.

And just as an aside, you will notice that Johnson hysterically attacks a relatively insignificant blog who had no part in ANY of this. We did not send the chart, which was for made for amusement among ourselves, to point out the duplicity of the chart’s original crafter in failing to denote the LGF mentions, to Greenwald. He found it on his own. Johnson’s answer was to post tweet after tweet smearing and lying about US. Which is his modus operandi. We don’t tweet at all about Johnson – this playpen is for us yet Johnson screams like an effing banshee about stalkers. We have a blog. Visit if you want. Like I said, we don’t care if we get 12 hits a day or 12,000. We’re having fun at Johnson’s expense. Which is the same thing HE does to Greenwald and anyone else he thinks might get him noticed on Twitter.

Which is my roundabout way of saying You.Don’t.Know.Dick.

  6. PeteP says:

Hey Chucky, since you’re so sure this is a hate site, find one comment on this site that incites hatred or calls for violence towards anyone. And no, a 20 year old recording of Rodan ranting at Hezbollah supporters doesn’t count.

    • Arachne says:

Or his reference to a Pinochet video that mentions – AT THE VERY END – the Turner Diaries was not an endorsement of same. He posted it for the Pinochet material and unfortunately could not edit out the Turner reference. Smear and duplicity – the trademarks of Jazzy McGreasytail.

    • Arachne says:

And in many ways, with the Rodan video, he once again evidences his hypocrisy. We’re all supposed to ignore LGF 2001-2008, but we’re supposed to flog Rodan for comments made as a teenager 20 years ago.

      • booger says:

sort of like St Hillary Clinton of Hope, and her smear machine taking out Paula jones, Jennifer Flowers, Juanita Broderick, Monica and Kathleen Willey is IN THE PAST but Mitt Romney cutting a hippies hair in Jr High is BIG NEWS

  7. swamprat says:

His fight against muslim bigotry exactly coincides with his bigotry towards those very same people and values he used to pander.

I don’t truly think he is Islams’ friend.

  8. Juan Epstein says:

One Muslim kid points his finger on a guy on a bike and people die.

  9. Juan Epstein says:

And I’m wondering what took Greenwald so long to drop the hammer?

Any chart on how many times The Big C has mentioned Greenwald in tweets?

  10. trebob says:

Uh, I didn’t get banned from LGF for hateful speech, I got banned for posting a comment on a website Charles disapproves of. All I said was that LGF had deleted a comment that was being discussed on that website.

So, no hateful speech from me Charles. Now, let’s talk about all the misogyny, racial hatred and general calls for violence that we see at your site regularly. Doesn’t Charles still have that Ludwig page up spouting all the misogynistic slut-shaming and hatred of attractive conservative women?

    • Arachne says:

No, I believe that’s been packed neatly in the basement, along with all the comments from people who post here. You look at old threads and all you can think is that this poster “deleted” is one busy guy.

    • rightymouse says:

Me neither. My LGF nic was still active when I posted here. Then he blocked my nic. Petulant Pussy. 😆

    • Octopus says:

I got banned from LGF for being very skeptical about AGW, and defending myself when Lewd-Wig Von Merkin got all personal and insult-y. Talk about hateful. 😆

    • booger says:

I got banned because I called Charles a moonbat and his dozen blog kids the island of misfit toys and I got the fuck out

  11. This was obviously a direct hit. He’s still going on about it, and we’re still laughing.

I mean, Greenwald finally responds to Johnson’s ankle-biting with no mention but single link to us. haha

    Johnson: I’ve been SMEARED!

    LMFAO

    • Arachne says:

I was reading some of your old posts in the BRC greatest hits archive, Chen. You have a GIFT!!

      • rightymouse says:

        Yes Chen does! Marvelous! 🙂

      • Hey thanks!

Speaking of the greatest hits, I was thinking about moving them to the top banner (next to “get off my website”) as a page.

I noticed in our stats column that a few of the new visitors we had yesterday were checking out the links at the top, and figured it might be a better place to have the hits.

  12. Juan Epstein says:

    Smear.

Like Sarah Palin is a Nazi because of her ghost writer?

  13. Zeus Crankypants says:

This is all quite simple. Charles Johnson and LGF use to be a go to blog for discussions on anti-Islamic subjects. For years Johnson and LGF was in perfect alignment with Spencer, Gellar and the whole cadre of anti-Islamic rhetoric.

Brevik’s manifesto mentions LGF numerous times (I’m the one who originally compiled the references, I still have my original post on the subject).

Charles can’t escape the truth, no matter how much whining he does.

  14. Juan Epstein says:

If he hadn’t started Pam’s career, it never would’ve happened.

    • Because says:

And if he hadn’t fallen off his bike, this place wouldn’t have happened.

    • kbdabear says:

Pammy was a magazine editor in NYC and still has useful skillsets in journalism should she give up the blogging stuff. What does Chunk have to fall back on once his blog costs more for him to keep up than he can afford?

  15. Arachne says:

You know what’s really interesting is that this tends to prove our point about the hate mail being fictitious. He’s throwing a tantrum over ONE post by Greenwald that, had he not directed extreme attention to it, would have gone unnoticed because nobody gives a shit what Johnson’s doing ANYWAY.

    Except us.

  16. Because Gus's net worth: a sleeping bag, 6 pot pies, 3 cans of sterno, and a Virgin Obamaphone says:

      • PeteP says:

He’s been disavowing 8 years of non-stop anti-Islam blogging, when it becomes inconvenient to his new “Lefty The Liberal”-persona, mainly by attacking Christianity and telling lies about people who protest the well-documented, ongoing atrocites perpetrated in the name of Allah and his messenger. He’s got all the integrity of a Tijuana pimp.

I didn’t get banned either. I self banned because the place just sucked too bad after ’09. That was back when Chunk was an Imam Rauf cheerleader (2010 I believe) and saw nothing wrong (naturally in full reversal from his position pre-2009) with putting a super-mosque (with a gym even!) a block away from an Islam inspired mass killing of unthinkable human loss and destruction. And Rauf was lamenting those he couldn’t protect from Islamist wrath if he didn’t get his mosque, a tired good cop/bad cop ploy often used by Islamic leaders when dealing with useful idiot Westerners. But to Chunk even to criticize this comically transparent concern troll tactic was “racist bigotry”. One of his pinheads called me a racist for pointing out Rauf’s ploy and Chunk piled on, dickhead that he is, especially after making the exact same point for years. So I basically just told them all they could fuck off with their Islamist apologizing bullshit. They tried to call that a flounce, of course.

Cat turns out to be a conspiracy theorist, obsessed with the “murder” of Eddie Peltier, the largely-unknown cousin of Leonard Peltier, the sometime leftist-cause celebre who’s doing life in prison for the killing of two FBI agents. Learn all about this dire conspiracy here: http://www.walkingsky.com/index.html

What I uncovered when I started researching the murder, the investigation and the trial was that circumstances and events were not as they appeared to be, nor were they at all how they had been presented to be by the courts, the media, and the investigative agencies whom I used to hold a lot of stock in. The world suddenly became unlevel, more unfair, more unjust, more corrupt and more evil than I had ever imagined.

I was not alone in this journey. I had a lot of help along the way. I encountered Eddie’s Restles Spirit, and I knew instantly that he will never rest until there is Justice for his murder. Others have also encountered his Spirit.

Along the way, as the story unfolded, more injustice, more corruption and more evil appeared as rocks are turned over, and curtains pulled away to reveal a pervasive evil that not only controls the lives of people living on Spirit Lake Nation Reservation, but it infests and disturbs the lives of each and every one of us to a greater and greater degree.

I will show you what I have found. You will see for yourself. And then, it is up to all of us, in ways large and small, to do our part to peacefully, non-violently, rid that community and ourselves of the evil that has infested and poisoned the future with corruption, violence, and lies.
Each of us becomes, aware of our own Restless Spirit. A sense of the imbalance, and a seeking to right that balance. The path to Peace is in compassion, reason, respect and decency.

We are all related. We are all connected.

      We are all poo. 😆

      • d says:

She seems a bit literal. Um I don’t think the story of Icarus is merely about “a guy who used wax wings 2 fly to the sun”. Kind of a boring and implausible story if that’s all it’s about.

      • Arachne says:

Yes, and not knowing the back story of the site’s name, she looks like an idiot. It was never about pleasing YOU bitchez, it was about having a playpen for us, by us. You don’t get the reference? We DON’T CARE.

    • trebob says:

Duns is being purposefully obtuse. If Charles didn’t think it was an issue (the number of cites) then he wouldn’t have called it “unbelievable sleaze”, “dishonest character assassination”, “smear attacks” and “It was a deliberate smear” and that’s only today.

If cites don’t equal support (which is what Duns said) then the entire TP article and chart are bogus smear attacks on perceived right-wing bloggers. But if cites DO equal support (which is what Charles and TP have said) then certainly citing LGF 33 times has more impact than citing Atlas Shrugged at 12 times and certainly more than PJ Media at only 2 mentions.

      Can’t have it both ways.

      • Because olo says:

This. Once again, Icarus ends up getting icky-poo all over himself.

Charles, you idiot, that was common practice back in the ’70s for band members to give each other nicknames. Perhaps they called you Icarus for your penchant for being a prideful ass right before an imminent fall.

      • livefreeor die says:

Maybe they called you Icarus because it had the sound “ick” in it and it reflected their feelings about your jumpsuit.

      • Octopus says:

Charles “Icarus” Johnson played on one hit album with George Duke, called “Reach For It.” There is a video on Youtube showing Charles, aka Chunky, aka Fatass, reaching for a funk groove in the studio, and making the drummer crack up, saying “Let’s go surfing, Barry!”

At George Duke’s official site (http://www.georgeduke.com/1970s.html), there’s a sad little story about the nasty ending to Chunky’s employment with the Duke band:

Charles Johnson had left the band (after I gave him money to help buy a Volkswagen I might add) and I began using Roland Bautista on guitar, who eventually took Al McKay’s place with Earth, Wind & Fire.

Ooh, he’s a dishonest fat fuck! Don’t trust him one bit. Talking to you, Restless Spirit Woman, aka “Cat.” He’ll poop in your litter-box, and say a ghost did it. 😯

      • Octopus says:

Also, after Duke’s unfortunately premature death last year, Johnson went onto a tribute site about the musician and publicly apologized for essentially stealing the VW. Later, when that apology was referenced here, he had a change of heart and recanted the story, with a lot of fake outrage. Here is a screen-cap of that apology:

  36. Zeus Crankypants says:

Here is my original post on this subject…

Little Green Footballs, Anders Breivik’s and the United States Blog-based Anti-Jihad Movement.

A lot of bits and bytes have been spilled on various blogs and internet news sites over the contents of Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik’s manifesto. The political left has been gleeful pouring over the many references to certain anti-Islamist blog personalities mentioned in the document, and these sites have been diligently mining the 1500 plus page manuscript for juicy references to their favorite adversaries on the conservative right.

Unfortunately, most of these leftist bloggers and news sources are either myopic in their journalistic skills, or worst, just plain dishonest actors. Over and over they have pounced on every reference in the manifesto to persons such as Bat Ye’or, Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, the mysterious writer “Fjordman,” Daniel Pipes and MEMRI, while at the same time, almost totally ignoring the former leader of this “movement” of anti-Islamic sentiment, the blog Little Green Footballs and it’s founder Charles Johnson.

It’s a known fact that since 2007, Charles Johnson has very publicly stepped away from this circle of concerned writers and scholars of the world of radical Islam. While there is nothing wrong with changing political positions or forming new opinions, during this process Charles Johnson has also made a concerted effort to convince people that he was never the person imagined on LGF, pre-2007, that he was always “fair and balanced” and that he never harbored any animosities toward any aspect of Islam or the political left. In short, he never agreed with any of the rhetoric of his fellow travelers.

But this is simply not true. And a casual perusal of Anders Breivik’s manifesto will afford any honest person a very clear view of Charles Johnsons eager participation and importance in the early anti-Islamist movement. Here are some of the highlights…

(Breivik quoting “Fjordman”) “Dr. Chanan Naveh, who used to edit the Israel Broadcasting Authority radio’s news desk, mentioned, with no regrets, examples in which he and his colleagues made a concerted effort to change public opinion: “Three broadcasters – Carmela Menashe, Shelly Yechimovich [later a Labour party Knesset Member], and I – pushed in every way possible the withdrawal from Lebanon towards 2000… I have no doubt that we promoted an agenda of withdrawal that was a matter of public dispute. “As Charles Johnson of American anti-Jihad blog Little Green Footballs[4] commented: “Journalists are no longer in the business of simply reporting facts and events; increasingly, they see their job as ‘activism,’ and the points of view they promote are invariably leftist and Tran-nationalist. Honest journalists will admit this outright, and we see the pernicious effects of this information manipulation and filtering everywhere.”

(Breivik quoting “Fjordman”) “DP111, an articulate British commentator at such websites as Jihad Watch, Little Green Footballs and Fjordman blog, points out that as Muslim families are very large, a single wage earner will find it hard to support all. They will need to supplement this by getting considerable benefits from the state.”

(Breivik quoting “Fjordman”) “As Charles Johnson[32] of blog Little Green Footballs dryly commented, ‘this is an interesting viewpoint: Only by receiving special treatment and instituting a medieval religious legal code can Muslims be treated “equally.’”

(Breivik quoting “Fjordman”) “If the United States wants to maintain what it sees as its moral leadership, it can begin by challenging Islamic censorship and intimidation. China doesn’t care, nor does Russia, while India has a huge Islamic fifth column to worry about. Europe is controlled by a Eurabian elite that is both unwilling and incapable of protecting free speech from Muslim intimidation, which is why many Europeans have become free speech refugees on American websites such as Robert Spencer’s JihadWatch.org and Charles Johnson’s Little Green Footballs[130].

But as we know, Charles left the anti-Jihad movement. But the mark he left on it was striking. One of the most damming entries in Anders Breivik’s manifesto occurs AFTER Charles Johnson decided to “leave the right” and try to become a cheerleader for the progressive movement.

(Breivik quoting “Fjordman”) “What has Little Green Footballs, which never misses an opportunity to denounce “Fascists,” written about this? So far, absolutely nothing. There are indeed people who behave like Fascists in Europe, and they receive tacit support from LGF while their victims are denounced as “Fascists.””

Yes Anders Breivik developed many of his positions, opinions and mental state as a “free speech refugee” visiting American websites such as Charles Johnson’s Little Green. In his manifesto, he diligently annotates and footnotes his entries, guiding the reader to the sources of his fears and concerns. He includes 20 links to Charles Johnsons Little Green Footballs.

There is no doubt from the above list that Anders Breivik’s found enough material hosted and linked to at Little Green Footballs to support his positions before and after Charles Johnson went from anti-Jihad crusader to a multicultural-embracing progressive.

No, Charles Johnson didn’t make Anders Breivik’s what he is today, anymore than Bat Ye’or, Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, the mysterious writer “Fjordman,” Daniel Pipes or MEMRI helped him pull the trigger of his automatic weapon for an hour and a half. But it is disingenuous (and downright dishonest) on the part of websites such as Think Progress, CNN, Slate, The New York Times, Spiegel…

    http://thinkprogress.org/security/2011/07/25/278677/islamophobic-right-wing-blogger-breivi/

… and many others to ignore the obvious connections between ALL of the personalities and websites mentioned in the manifesto and their influence, positive or negative, on Anders Breivik’s. A person is the sum of their whole and like the individual parts that made up the Frankenstein monster, Charles Johnson was part and parcel of what shaped this monster. And no amount of ignoring these references in Anders Breivik’s manifesto will help one iota in erasing the truth.

Maybe “He who scoffs at danger,” a commenter at the blog “Let Freedom Rain” sums it up best…

    http://letfreedomrain.blogspot.com/2011/07/pam-geller-and-charles-johnson-object.html

“The things Johnson says in the quotes selected by Fjordman are as objectionable as anything Fjordman or Breivik have written in their own pens.”

“Breivik’s links to Fjordman’s writings show up as links to Johnson’s website because Johnson hosted Fjordman’s writings, and Johnson’s website is apparently where Breivik accessed them.”

  37. Zeus Crankypants says:

Just in case Charles Johnson need a reminder. I don’t do twitter or else I would post this document on my server and link Greenwald to it.

Didn’t I write this as a DOD post once?

    • Arachne says:

Eh, Greenwald is so past this BS. The only one who still cares about it is “Ick-R-Us.” And this because it’s allowing him to not have to do any real posting on his failed blog. Bonus points because it’s apparently allowing him to be Virginia Victim for another 24 hours.

    Let’s review, shall we.
A few years ago, Chuck smeared Geller, Spencer et al. by pointing to a graph talking about how often THEY were mentioned in the 1800 page manifesto of a monstrous madman, intimating that somehow THEY had some sort of culpability.

Chen Zen and Zeus Crankypants, being good guys, said “well, okay, if that’s the critiera, there’s a name MISSING from this graph. They proceeded to insert the number of mentions that Charles Johnson and LGF received in the same manifesto. More than Pam. More than Bob.

We play with this because, well because that’s what we do. We do not tweet this out. We do not send it anywhere (although it got some mention on our Mother Ship). We bring it up from time to when the West Coast Self-Righteous Asshole Distributor smears by insinuation. Which he does. A lot.

Cut to April 16th. Glenn Greenwald is searching around the internet, probably on an unrelated mission, and finds the graph. He posts it. The graph is not faked. The graph is not inaccurate. The graph corrected a deficiency that the original author intended – the now LEFT wing blog must not be mentioned. Even though, you know, it was. We do not send this graph to Greenwald.

Chuck immediately goes into full-out rubber-room ready screech mode, screaming shit about vile, hate-filled stalker sites. He does this for about 24 hours, until the thorazine someone slipped into his grilled cheese sandwich kicks in.

In the meantime, apparently Chucky’s minions have clicked on this site, have recoiled in the horror of people making fun of Chuck and enjoying themselves, which apparently constitutes “stalking” in the new and improved LGF Dick-shin-airy, and scramble back to pretty much perform a circle jerk on the evil and vileness of the infamous stalker site.
With the exception of maybe three or four tweets made for clarification, we have been pretty much still laughing at all this.

Because, you know, that’s how grownups treat smears, Chucky. They consider the source and stare in wonderment.

    • Pakimon says:

I think the two or three cheerleaders that Chunky has on Twitter all suffer from “Sharmuta Syndrome”.

They’re desperately searching for some sort of “all knowing guru” to guide their every thought since they don’t have the intelligence or confidence to think independently.

I can’t decide whether picking a fat fraud and huckster like Chunky as “The One” is hilarious or just sad.

      • Arachne says:

Sad – if they’re basing it on that 10-year-old picture. Which they probably are. “Oh – he’s the ‘Scientist of LOOOOOOOVE.” Of Cheetos and Mountain Dew maybe.

YOU care about hits – that’s why you rigged your page view and hit counters. And your Tweet count. Because they base advertising revenue on it. Sure we don’t mind hits. We find it cool that we get them. But we don’t live for them. Nor do we troll about merchandise from our Cafe Press store or shill for Amazon.

  62. Arachne says:

The funny thing about the whole Greenwald thing is that Chuck sees the tweet of the graph as some incredible injury to his reputation, as if he’s a major internet force. He hasn’t had credibility since the damn Tennessee Flag fiasco, coupled with the bitchslap he got from Ace of Spades over his whole reworking of the Israeli flotilla story. No one gave a shit, except for half a dozen slurps who tweeted amongst themselves of the EBIL STALKER BLOG. Greenwald was like “WTF – who let the 5-year-old in? He’s pooping on the floor again.”

But mostly? No one trusts him after the midnight raid of Killgore at Hot Air and Chuck’s sympathetic treatment of the entire incident. Couple that with Hoosier Hoops crapping on the Ace of Spades blog (to the point where the morons (not an insult – that’s what they call themselves) were trying to see if someone had a number for the guys to get someone on the board to delete the inflammatory posting. I think in the end they got poor Gabe out of bed).

We have it documented, Chuckie harem – you’ll have to wade through all that VILE we have around here, but we have it. But hey, if you approve of that conduct, good for you. With those nasty souls, it’s probably good that you don’t believe in heaven anyway.

Here’s Ahmad Jibril, Secretary-General of the PFLP General Command, on Hizballah’s Al-Manar TV, publicly admitting the truth about Yasser Arafat’s death for the first time. (Courtesy of MEMRI TV.)

Ahmad Jibril: When Abu Mazen came to Damascus with his team, I asked them: “What happened to the investigation into the death of Abu Ammar [Arafat]? The Israelis killed him. He was my colleague ever since 1965 and used to sleep at my home. He and I followed the same path.” Is it conceivable that when Rafiq Al-Hariri was killed, all hell broke loose, even though he was just a merchant in Saudi Arabia, who later entered politics, whereas the death of Yasser Arafat, who for 40 years had been carrying his gun from one place to another, is not investigate? Is this conceivable?

They were silent, and then one of them said to me: “To be honest, the French gave us the medical report, that stated that the cause of Abu Ammar’s death was AIDS.” I am not saying this, they did. Now they pretend that they miss Yasser Arafat, and complain that [Hamas] entered his house in [Gaza] and so on… I say to every honorable member of the Fatah movement that he should be happy that we got rid of the plague, which had been imposed upon them and upon the Palestinian people. The Fatah movement now has an opportunity to renew itself.

I’ve always felt that Arafat was slow cooked by Israeli radar. He complained of the “radio” and you could see the mobile radar on the trucks pointed directly at his premise. He could have left, but he stayed. Only a few people have died this way, so there wasn’t enough baseline information to understand what had happened.
Israel told him to go, he should have listened.

Final score Rangers 4 Flyers 1

Penalties killed them in the third period.

Yet strangely, I do not feel like sniveling or getting peevish.

It’s a seven game series so I’ll hold off on the sniveling and/or peevishness until games three and four. 😉
