The real reason why Charles attacked Pat Dollard

Instead of doing a post of the tragic shooting at Ft. Hood; Charles does a post focusing on a tweet by Pat Dollard.

Pat Dollard1

Reading the comments, I discover the real motive behind Charles Johnson’s outrage!

Pat Dollard

Charles is envious of the amount of followers on Twitter Pat Dollard has. Life is harsh Charles, go get a hug!

Dollard did get a little crazy there. Chunky gets more than a little crazy everyday, so he should be more understanding.

While I certainly understand the rage if this turns out to be another Mormon attack, I don’t think we’re at the point where we have to start slaughtering all Mormons in the street. We could nuke Salt Lake City, as a warning to the rest.

  2. Octopus says:

Bike Boy has 8500 followers but a very low rate of RT’s for his number. Meaning many are former followers who forgot to unfollow him, bots, socks, and spam followers

    Glen Beck = 840K followers

I notice a LOT of of the “TCOT” (top conservatives on Twitter) follow the Culver City Asshat – Heritage Foundation, Black Republican, Dan Riehl (“Riehl World News”). I’ve often wondered if they started following Fatass when he started up on Twitter and were simply too busy to unfollow him. Of course, a lot of people follow the opposition. But still, considering he’s got a blog, etc., the follow count should definitely be higher. There are plenty of people with no blog affiliation that have tens of thousands of followers. Also, I think it was determined not long ago that fully 25% of his followers were not “real”.

Of course, in full disclosure, I have 601 – and I still can’t believe I have that many. If I ever got off my ass and started writing for my blog, maybe I could get more.

That being said, Fatass – you snide that Dollard has 35,000 followers – by which you seem to want to imply that 35,000 people agree with him.

You don’t even have 9,000 – what does that say about YOU?

  4. kbdabear says:

It would be funny to reply to his tweets with the number of twitter followers his enemy of the moment has and number of Chuckles the Clown’s followers

Not being defended at all costs.

Never heard of Pat Dollard until this post. But this is turning out to be a classic Chunk episode of ineptitude.

    1) No one can find Dollard’s pieces on Breitbart. Because evidently the last time Dollard wrote a post there, Chunk himself was a BIG Andy Breitbart FAN!!!!
    2) And per Twitchy, there aren’t any conservatives shouting out in agreement with Dollard.

Not that the Chunk Man won’t have his 11 sock/sycophants out there trying to cherry pick or even fabricate one or two. Still a pathetic has-been that no one pays attention to.

Its a double standards, Leftists can talk about castrating Christians males, but a pissed of Righty who assumed this was Jihadi related must be ostracized. We are humans and sometimes make emotional statements. On Blogmoc I was calling Ivan Lopez a Traitor and wrote in anger. Now that its becoming apparent that he had mental issues, I am more sad than angry.

We really need to do better in regards to mental health with our soldiers.

    • Arachne says:

My understanding (and I will confess that it results from various sound bites) is that the shooter was indeed seeking psychiatric help but diagnosis had not been forthcoming, but yet every major media outlet is now saying “PTSD” because, you know, that’s their “go to” when the military is concerned, as if they somehow cannot succumb to the same psychosis and neurosis as civilians do. It may very well BE PTSD – but like I said, the information I had said the diagnosis had not been made.

I saw pictures of Ivan Lopez and he looked like the crazy guy from Full Metal Jacket. If he had mental issues, they should have discharged him. But in our society now, we can’t treat people with mental issues.

  14. Because says:

So when some professor starts advocating executing “climate deniers”, we’re going to see similar outrage. Right?

  15. Arachne says:

I should point out that I find Pat Dollard’s tweet very offensive, for the same reason as I found the call for murdering climate deniers offensive. But I would point out Pat is being roundly denounced (including a boatload of “unfollowing you” tweets) from the people on the same side of the aisle, so to speak. And frankly. since he hasn’t written for Brietbart in years and years, leave it to dishonest smear merchant Charles “don’t call me irrelevant” Johnson to attempt to link him with a man whose been dead two years, and for whom he STILL can’t get over his jealousy. It must stink to see that he’s still beloved two years on, Fatass, that you work overtime to besmirch his memory. But then again, he DID what you actually claimed to do. He broke stories and took the heat for it – whereas you appropriated others’ work, intimated it was your own, and whined like a five-year-old when you were justifiably ignored.

    • d says:

And in addition, Chunky hid in his house when Breitbart would routinely go out in public and get into shouting matches and and belly up in scuffles with the pinhead actual stalker libtards and their journalist poodles.

By the way, I guess we should be grateful Obama stopped in his fundraising long enough to talk about the shootings, and the victims didn’t have to wait for a shoutout to an Indian chief before being acknowledged this time.

And I realize George Bush isn’t all that popular with some, but I will bet you he and Laura visit the hospital – without announcement, cameras and farefare – and talk to the victims before Obama ever does – IF Obama ever does.

      • Arachne says:

Pat’s world is pretty black and white, I think. He links to a lot of horrifying videos from the Mideast documenting the brutality of Islamofacists, and I think another shooter at Ft. Hood killing innocent soldiers just pushed him to the edge, especially when they refuse to designate the last attack as terrorism. He totally LOATHES Obama, especially his embrace of the Muslim brotherhood – and yeah, it might be a little on the extreme side.

I can’t defend the tweet – it was over the edge. I think even Pat knows that at this time. He’s being vilified all over the RIGHT blogosphere and you know, I’m just going to step back on this and let him have his space. He was wrong, he should apologize that he overreacted to this and on a scale unbecoming an American citizen.

Now, if you brought me evidence that the CEO had called for gays to be fired from their jobs, to be denied housing, used the perjorative to describe them, then I might walk back my comments.

But I’d like the gay lobby to understand something. As a group, both African Americans and Latinos DO NOT support same-sex marriage. Don’t believe me? Two words – Proposition 8. The same people standing at the polls voting for Obozo in 2008 also marked Yes on the ballot. People are allowed NOT to support gay marriage. You are not allowed to fire them for it or demand that they leave their employment, any more than they should force you out of your job for being gay.

    • Arachne says:

What the tyrannical gay lobby doesn’t get is that their burning desire to “out” people who support gay marriage and punish them for their beliefs is backfiring on them every time. Support Chick-fil-A day resulted in such massive support that many outlets had to shut down simply because they.ran.out.of.food. When the gays tried to fight back with their “gay kiss-in day”, no one showed up for the most part and they looked silly with their demonstrations that went roundly ignored. Phil Robertson couches his dislike for the gay lifestyle in rustic language – yank him off the air! A&E and a few idiot sponsors comply and are forced to backtrack when (1) Robertson’s family says “no Phil, no show” and Cracker Barrel has a REAL bad weekend. Now people are uninstalling Firefox (I can’t – my office requires I have it for certain court filings, but I never installed it in my home to begin with). Mozilla/Firefox is going to feel it shortly.

I hope Eich consults a really good employment lawyer. You cannot force someone out of their job for their beliefs any more than you can fire them for it. This, by the way, was why the Proposition 8 opponents were so anxious to get their hands on the Prop 8 supporter donor list. So that they could intimidate and harass people practicing free political speech.
