Albusteve sighted…

apologies for going off topic, but I don’t hang out much…
heysoos is albusteve, no big deal…
I did not flounce from LGF, that has no interest for me…the fact that I was banned is just as uninteresting to me…it was what it was and Walter had absolutely nothing to do with my dismissal…anyone who ponders otherwise is mistaken, it was just a cigar….

I have no reason to troll, hide my identity or need to know who other people are….some nics I recall of course…I know Walter personally because I wanted to meet him, it was nothing to do with LGF…and Walter knows better than anyone here that I am not likely to be influenced by such nonsense and actually do not need the attention of some silly subterfuge…the mongers at LGF can think whatever they want, makes zero difference to me

Bagua has righteous taste in blues. RIP Hubert. I saw him a few years ago at Claptons Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago.
Welcome to Albusteve. We never coresponded but I have followed your comments in the swamp.

      • haysoos says:

thank you…had I known anyone was following my comments, I may have tried harder to say something interesting!….but I mostly turned those people onto some good music, especially some blues…a few got it, most didn’t

  3. GJT via CPH says:

I read just now that Ronnie Montrose died yesterday, so I’ll throw in a RIP Montrose. Helluva guitar player who gave Sammy Hagar his start.
If your over 45, get checked for prostate cancer.. No matter what our new health care overlords say.

    • garycooper says:

Damn…my best friend growing up, who is probably still my best friend even though we only see each other once or twice a year due to distance, is going through his second round of chemo for prostate cancer — the first was about five years ago, and he thought it was all over, but now it’s back.

      RIP, Ronnie.

      • Lily says:

Yep it can come back if the prostrate is even removed. Always have to keep having blood tests.
My husband had it. He is clear of it now. But he is always makes sure he has his blood tests because it can come back.
/one of his good friends did. Now he is going through radiation.

Also some men who have prostrate cancer ignore it.
One of the guys my husband works with has it and told him he would prefer to die of it than have it removed.
Personally I would prefer my husband alive and well.

Yep, I marked the sad day with a series of videos on my channel. A couple included original photos I was emailed.

Truly one of the last, or possible the last of the greats who enriched our lives with their music.

Welcome to Albusteve! I remember you as a good poster back in the day, though we didn’t have much interaction. There were a LOT of people active then.

Always wondered about your nic, though. Whether it was egg-related (albumen), or if in fact you were the Eggman. Where did that come from? Charles has egg on his faith now. You didn’t have anything to do with that, did you? .

You were the last poster to leave leave LGF that made that place worth the visit and time to read. I still enjoyed reading when you posted in the face of all the nonsense. Just my personal bias.

Since then I only read here.

    • GJT via CPH says:

I will second that. Walter and Alusteve were the last two. Maybe DF will eventually make his way here and get a welcome. NJDHockeyguy never made it here as far as we all know. KT? I’m not so sure i’d welcome him..

      • snowcrash says:

Me either. Beed would. That might be enough. Lol

I didn’t plan any of it…but around the fall of 07 so many new faces showed up…seems they all wanted to attack me…they piled up and nobody came to my rescue…when I defended myself, CJ stepped in and accused me of being a problem…LOL!…his guppies sensed my weakness and slammed me…he uses his symps by proxy…they tore me up, sanctioned by CJ…what a joke…I was called a racist, bigot, and troll many times…in their weak, collective minds that was okay, but defend yourself and you become a problem…the entire blog is so phony…it’s prom night every night over there…an orgy of ego

    • snowcrash says:

Was it 07? A bunch of us left or were banned in 09. I don’t recognize half the newer nic’s, including windsagio unless some of their their vomments show up here.

      • Snowcrash, somewhere around 2007, was when Charles decided that the Celtic Cross was a Neo-Nazi symbol. Don’t have the exact thread number, maybe the BRC could find it.

My ancestors came from some of the lands that have had crosses of that nature for over a thousand years. (See Scotland, the Orkney Islands and Ireland).

One claim is that the crosses were at least 1200 years old and some were from the time of St. Patrick of Ireland.

Yet, Charles “Little Joe Stalin” Johnson decides to rewrite history and claim that they were Neo-Nazi symbols. If Chuckles is going down that road, then he better disavow everything ever made in the last two-thousand years.

Every symbol gets misused by evil people at some point.

In the next few months, I fully expect Chuckles to claim that the term “Black Death” is raaaaacist. That’s his motive and I think it’s safe to say he will never change; he’s destroyed too many bridges.

That’s it in a nutshell. Spot on!

  16. Claytonia Sibirica says:

Somebody apply a test imo. We won’t know for sure until the DNA comes back!

    • Bagua says:

But when have I been wrong with my “test”?

      • Claytonia Sibirica says:

maybe its just too cynical then, if somebody comes in and is ‘hey I’m xxx you were just talking about!’ its usually a safe assumption that they’re not.

The style seriously doesn’t match quite right though, especially this bit:

“I may have tried harder to say something interesting!”

That really really really doesn’t sound like steve to me.

(although that could just be the effects of a few years LGF fatigue making him irritable)

      • Bagua says:

In general, surely. But Bagua’s correlator tool is cunningly accurate.

      • snowcrash says:

clay the style may not match the style you remember because he is not under attack here or unwanted here.

    • Interestingly, our stats page says that we got a few hits today from using the search term:

      windsagio ‘voltaires crack’

      ?

      • Claytonia Sibirica says:

people are so unwise about using those search terms, maybe they don’t know you guys get stats on the terms used?

PS: Voltaire’s crack? My mind says that’s another LGF term, but I don’t quite know it.

      • Voltaires Crack says:

That was me. Just doing a little background check since the question of how long CS’s identify was known came up. I had him pegged pretty early and was just seeing if there was any documentary evidence.

  17. Bagua says:

windsagio also deserves a welcome thread, especially as he has come clean and wants a fresh start!

    • Claytonia Sibirica says:

Everyone deserves a welcome thread when they shed their lizard skin.

      • Claytonia Sibirica says:

pff I know you, you just wanna gloat.

I would seriously not want one, and would request that the hosts not give me it.

      • Claytonia Sibirica says:

(above post meant to be silly, that’s why I always do those emotes, to try to communicate its not serious)

      • Lily says:

Well you got banned. Sorry to hear that CS. But that is just the way cj rolls. Actually you are better off for it though. Saw your fresh start post so here is me being nice to you. 🙂

    • rightymouse says:

😆 That there is really funny.
Dark Falcon is about as conservative as my cat.

      • Lily says:

Well I would go as far to say your cat is more conservative than Dork Falcon.
Dork Falcon is about as conservative as a unicorn with rainbows.
Never forget this….word to the wise about cats:

      • rightymouse says:

Yep. Am down to two of those furry beasts, the eldest being about 17 now. They know not to mess with me or engage in staring contests.

      • Lily says:

My beautiful cat died a couple of years ago. My niece gave us a dog that doesn’t really like me but loves my husband.

My cat would stare at my youngest son when he was younger and it would drive him crazy.
“MOM THE CAT IS STARING AT ME LIKE I’M STUPID AGAIN!!!”
        My older son,
“At least she knows what stupid is.”

The ritual morning breakfast before school. 😉

      • rightymouse says:

    • garycooper says:

Liberals of a certain age are not reachable through fact-based argument, Fob. It takes a shock of some kind, to penetrate their crust of received leftist-“wisdom” and assorted “settled sciences.”

For example, a lot of libs were shocked into re-examining their beliefs by 9-11. David Horowitz was rocked by the murder of a close friend, at the hands of one of his Black Panther “heroes.” Sometimes it’s parenthood, or finding success at a difficult vocation through dint of your own hard work. Sometimes it’s a combo of many things, as it was for me.

Yes, I was a libturd, well into my late-30’s. 😳

      • rightymouse says:

I was in my 40’s. Right after 9/11. Gotcha back, friend.

      • garycooper says:

rightymouse :I was in my 40′s. Right after 9/11. Gotcha back, friend.

We are kind of legion, I guess. Good company, too. Post 9-11 converts to conservatism include Dennis Miller, David Mamet, most of the PJM peeps, a couple thousand good bloggers, and the list goes on.

On this site you have to keep scrolling up to see replies as they are threaded if “reply” is clicked.

If “quote” is clicked they sometimes end at the bottom, sometimes threaded.

      • Bunk X says:

Once I’ve read through a thread, I watch the list at top right for subsequent middle of the thread comments and open them in a new tab.

    • Bunk X says:

If you hit “Reply” your comment stays there. If you hit “Quote” it copies all the stupid in blockquotes and you can add snark.

      • Bagua says:

But sometimes it is in the thread, sometimes in the bottom.

        Or am I imagining that?

      • Bunk X says:

“Quote” takes it to the bottom. Beed can explain that better than I, but he’s going to bed.

        Sunday Vlaams Belang Open Thread
        Sun, Oct 28, 2007 at 9:47:02 am

Here’s an open thread for a sunny Sunday morning, as I try to catch up with dozens of emails on the Vlaams Belang videos I posted yesterday. I’m getting a lot of support from European readers, and also a lot of people trying to rationalize away the White Power symbol on Filip DeWinter’s bookshelf.

        UPDATE at 10/28/07 10:50:29 am:

This is a traditional Celtic Cross.

This is the racist symbol of neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

    • Oh I wish I could say more, but for tactical reasons…ya know. It’ll be good. Promise.

Which one is #5? As far as that goes, which one is #4, 3, 2 and 1?

Is ISTE one of them, I hope?

      • Chen, I’ve got two small requests:

        1. Is there any way to know the exact date, time or thread when CJ went mental about the Celtic Cross being a Neo-Nazi symbol?

        2. Is ISTE OK? The poor chap sounded like his entire life was shredded up and spit out. If he needs a cyber bottle of whiskey, then I can help.

    • I had November 20, 2007, as his craziness tag. Dammit, missed it by so much…
Oh well, if you hear from ISTE, give ’em me regards.

Only missed it by twenty-three days.
      Dammit!
