The Boiler Room is ready to put together a page dedicated to LGF’s “lost” Fjordman collection, as we believe we’ve managed to outsmart the guardians of Johnson’s memory hole and screencap any that we’d previously missed.
We’ve decided to include the whole collection on one page as a nice easy reference. Remember that some of these will look like the old LGF format, as they were grabbed before CJ’s cowardly block on the Wayback Machine. Others were grabbed before Johnson finally decided to scrub them for good, and some were gleaned from the Great Strawberry Heist™.
First, here’s the list of urls that feature Fjordman, and are currently missing from the LGF archives (after prefix: littlegreenfootballs.com/article/):
And the screencaps (click to enlarge):
(The links featured in any of those threads are available upon request; most of them are still live and are links to Gates of Vienna or The Brussels Journal.)
We just thought it’d be handy, as long as Johnson is trying to explain his association with Fjordman while these threads are inexplicably hidden:
Back in the day, I linked to Fjordman’s articles myself; he was a big self-promoter and would email and ask for links every time he posted something. But sometime around 2007 (when I criticized him and other “counter-jihad” bloggers for making deals with extreme right wing European groups) it became clear that his seeming erudition and extreme logorrhea was a cover for a particularly nasty form of European white nationalism.
Interestingly, Johnson doesn’t mention the multitude of “hat tips” he gave to Fjordman, or the fact that he was a relatively frequent commenter at LGF as well (As we noted earlier, he departed LGF with a +689 Karma rating, 3531 comments. Before ’05 he posted as “Norwegian kafir”, his first comment appearing in the archives on Jul 8, 2003, and went on to post on hundreds of threads under that nic).
You see, that’s why we have to do this “memory hole” stuff; CJ can just whitewash away. We know that CJ will fight over it, too:
