Look at me! Look at me!

How long before a post canonizing the freshly dead Dr. Kervorkian?

We’ll also get more Weiner posts, where CJ can continue going full-on ‘girther’.

He’s really aching for those hits.

  2. sacred ham says:

I can’t believe how crazy this shit is getting.

Yes, Chuck’s shit seems to be getting crazier.

  3. snowcrash says:

He wishes that were true to hide him being wrong again. Lol. But don’t believe me, check memeorandum. The rising stories are still all about Weiner’s weiner, unemployment numbers and John Edwards facing charges today. It isn’t womens reproductive rights or whatever he is concerned about.

    • garycooper says:

Like Weiner, the Fatass is trying to change the subject now. Not so fast, Porky! We have more jokes to make at your expense. Sit down in your favorite gaming chair, and munch some stale Cheetos while we work.

  4. garycooper says:

Who would have ever thought that someday there’d be a word in the common vernacular like “girther,” referring to a congressman’s penis? Not me. 🙂

Isn’t one of the loozards a luthier, though? I forget which one, but I think it was one of the Circle Of (t)Rust-guys, circling the toilet bowl.

  5. Runner says:

I like his use of the phrase “anti-choice advocate” and “rights”. In the old days at LGF any discussion of abortion was forbidden. Now that everyone agrees with him it’s okay to discuss it again.

    • gizbot7 says:

I truly hate this word smearing shit. I do not consider Pro-Choice people Pro-Abortion nor do I consider Pro-Life people Anti-Choice. This is what you resort to when you are trying to sway peoples opinions without using, you know, actual facts. What a dickhead.

  6. sacred ham says:

  7. Whatever says:

    Reading the actual story:

Jennie L. McCormack of Idaho instead had her sister purchase drugs online to ingest in order to cause a miscarriage. McCormack, who is the mother of three, is now being charged with “unlawful abortion” according to the Associated Press.

Horseshit. The violation of the law is purchasing drugs without a prescription. She’s be just as much in violation of the law if she bought penicillin online.

We can argue separately about the way the FDA and the doctors conspire to keep medicine out of people’s hands without paying the troll guarding the bridge, but Chuck already said he wasn’t a libertarian.

    Chuckfail. Again.

    • sacred ham says:

I think that’s basically what Dork was arguing – that the crime was fraud, and that he wasn’t willing to excuse fraud just because it was in support of an abortion.

But the important thing is, when you vote for a Republican, you’ve voting for botched abortions, racism, starving the poor, throwing old people out into the streets, torturing Muslims, and denying citizenship to anyone who’s not a white Christian male. “That’s not hyperbole, that’s a statement of fact.”

    • snowcrash says:

Ok I just found the story. The woman was 20 to 25 weeks pregnant? 5 to 6 mos into the pregnancy? Pretty sickening.

      • Basement Cat says:

I think that a lot of the pro-abortion types are motivated by hatred of children. They don’t think ANYBODY should have them. Especially not poor people. But if people of limited means were not permitted to have children, a lot of us (self included) wouldn’t exist.

      • sacred ham says:

Maybe there’s some truth to that, but personally I try to stay away from that kind of argument – there’s no way to prove it, and it’s too close to the kind of stuff that libs like Chuck say, e.g. that Republicans hate women, minorities, etc. Better to argue the facts as opposed to claiming to know that bad intentions and hate are what motivates your opponents.

      • gizbot7 says:

See, this is a problem for me. What the hell was she doing in the MONTHS leading up to this? And yo, Chuck, these types of examples do not help your cause. They make any rational person think WTF!!

  8. YankintheEU says:

“total war against women’s rights” — could he possibly shriek more hysterically? Someone takes a different view on the abortion issue: “OMG they are trying to destroy women!!!!”

  9. Keeper of the Books says:

    YankintheEU :
“total war against women’s rights” — could he possibly shriek more hysterically? Someone takes a different view on the abortion issue: “OMG they are trying to destroy women!!!!”

Your hyperbole is in the same league as Chuck. Fail.

    • YankintheEU says:

“Fail,” that’s your argument? What are you, twelve years old?

      • Keeper of the Books says:

You point out that “could he possibly shriek more hysterically” and then you go prove that someone can, you, by answering your own reasonable question with a epithet that is more hysterical than Chuckles.

        Fail.

      • Grand Junctionite says:

Sorry, but I don’t see any hysterical epithet here.

    • gizbot7 says:

Grand Junctionite :Sorry, but I don’t see any hysterical epithet here.

      That’s because there isn’t one.

    Fail.

What’s a bit strange to me is that you can’t see that there I mock Charles’ hysterical way of thinking. To try and explain it step by step: This is the sort of highly exaggerated language he uses in treating opponents, which is why it’s in quotation marks. That this is mimicking with derision and not my remark should be easily obvious from the context.

    • Keeper of the Books says:

I see now… in your ever longing quest to mock Charles, you will even go to lengths to make yourself look MORE stupid than he is. Yea… that works for me.

      • YankintheEU says:

This is childish. And to be accurate: It’s your mistaken interpretation of my mocking that is stupid.

“Republican War against women” is actually language taken from Charles on other occasions. It’ s all his hyperbole and I am not concocting anything here of my own.

      • beeduwine says:

Don’t believe it when they tell you are an ass, KotB.

WHo said ““OMG they are trying to destroy women!!!!”?

    • YankintheEU says:

We have been through this twice now. Charles says that Republicans are ‘at war against women’. That comment is paraphrasing and mocking Charles’ own ridiculous beliefs. It happens also to be rhetoric used by the DNC chair.

    • spaceallah says:

Good ol’ Chuck keeps saying that, phrased as “the GOPs continued war against women.”

I had the misfortune of accidentally clicking on one of the Stalkers’ websites tonight when reading the latest on the fallout of “Twittergate”, as the media is now calling the fiasco involving Rep. Weiner’s social media accounts – in this case the one whose name is derived from the state north of Missouri.

He posted what would have to be the most rambling wall-of-text that I have seen outside of the Unabomber manifestos… and somehow Charles is somehow involved in a grand conspiracy to sully the good name of Andrew Brietbart. It literally gave me a headache trying to read it.

Abortion isn’t a major issue for me. I don’t vote based on it.

Yes, you do. Every time you vote for a Republican you’re voting to destroy women’s rights.

I know you don’t like hearing it, but it’s your party and this is what they’re doing. Own it.

    • OldLineTexan says:

      Hat tip ISTE, prior thread.

    • Whatever says:

By Chuck’s logic, if there’s anything that a particular party supports, you’re supporting that by supporting anybody from that party. Which is why he so furiously denies that, for example, Van Jones is the truther kook that he is. By his own logic, if he acknowledged the well-documented facts about Jones or Holdren or any of 100 other donkeys-in-good-standing, he’s actively supporting trutherism and euthanasia and the annihilation of Israel by supporting any donkey.

Has anyone considered the near certainty that Weiner’s lawyers advised him to say that?

This is what lawyers do. They try to have their clients avoid saying anything that can be used to paint them into a corner.
