Rescued from Memory Hole: “Obama Redesigns the US Flag”

Oh, the hilarious things we discover in our inboxes!  We were excited to open this one, as the contents of this missing thread have eluded the Boiler Room crew for quite some time:

littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31557

Now, what we had was something akin to an unassembled kit car. We had the title, text, timestamp, image and the article #. We even found comments from the previous thread that referenced it. But, since there was no live page to screencap, we put it all together in a .doc file for presentation:

(again, please note that this is a fake screencap based on accurate information.  yes, fake but accurate, and done for recreation purposes.)

We’re just not sure how long this article remained published.  It is possible that it was yanked within minutes (or even seconds), as the realization of the oopsy sunk into CJ’s head (the next thread “Obama Speaks on Economy” is timestamped just a few minutes after).

But do the lizard lurkers believe it?  Well…

  • CJ has struggled with state flag identification in the past.
  • Obama was in Ohio that day. (Heh)

And, we can prove the authenticity of the article and contents upon email request, should the challenge arise.  So by all means, challenge us! I think the lizards know better, however.

Update:

Update: Just got this off the tip line. LOL:

Update: Thanks to CJ for turning the old comments back on, because this is just precious:

Classic. This was before the entire political world did a 180 degree turn, and/or before Charles realized how he had been duped by those evil, wascly Republican rapscallions.

Because, you know, Charles didn’t change – everyone else did.

    • nils says:

Of course it’s a fiction that Johnson didn’t change his politics. The dumbness is obviously a constant (exhibit A above). But the change in tone is most striking – the previous incarnation of Johnson was never the mean, dishonest, smear machine that he’s become.

      • m says:

Before we really didn’t get to know him like now. He didn’t hang out on the threads policing back then. I had no idea his personality sucked so bad.

    • ISpeakJive says:

Maybe what he really means is he didn’t change. He was always an asshole, we just didn’t know it.

  2. nils says:

One wonders why ‘booger’ just didn’t delete ALL the pre-2009 threads after he made his conversion to the left, after Obama won the election.

Maybe the same thing that got him to save all those comic books.

Anyways, Booger is definitely flag-challenged isn’t he. And like he himself said, the web never forgets. Lol.

  3. HolyRomanStuff says:

And, by the way, I just took a gander at the JimmahIce YouTube page. Am I reading that right, one of her favorite books is the “Satanic Bible”?

    That might explain some things…

    • nils says:

You read it right. This is the ‘favorites’ reading list of the most influential, well-respected poster at Charles ‘booger’ Johnson’s LittleGreenFootballs blog:

Books:Rules for Radicals, Communist Manifesto, Anarchists Cookbook, Origin of Species, Satanic Bible

      • OldLineTexan says:

Meh. I had The Anarchist’s Cookbook way back when it was cool. Not only that, I could read it. No way the weasel can.

      • doriangrey1 says:

ROTFLMAO… The Satanic bible is perhaps one of the most insipidly stupid and poorly written books ever published. A seven year old on LSD could have written a better book.

      • John Difool says:

Oooooh, that’s a real edgy reading list right there. I’m pretty sure those books are on Ayres and Dohrns reading list too, ICP Juggalo’s and just about every student at Berkeley.

      • Mashiki says:

Pft. Satanic bible? Wimps. Real cult followers read the Black Book by Cthulhu. May his dark appendages ever bless and keep you from the madness!

    • jordanduram says:

I find it ironic that this person will not end up in the capital city of Canceron, after all…now that I am more familiar with your terminology!

  4. Yea I can’t stop laughing. That has to be one of the most idiotarianismishnessed things I’ve ever seen on a blog. Even Blogs for Brownback couldn’t have thought that up, and that site was an ingenious parody.

    • nils says:

At this point I think a clinical diagnosis of ‘flagnosis’ is in order for Booger.

      • Bunk X says:

Has it been verified that it was once posted? Even if it wasn’t, it gives a glimpse of ChuckThink.

“Ooh. I’ve never seen THAT flag before. It has to be… it must be… gotta post it… gotta *click*”

      • Bunk X says:

Just saw ISTE’s comment below. The post was alive until it was aborted in the fourth trimester.

      • snowcrash says:

        Bunk, great illustration.

  5. Airquote Sarctag says:

Chuck’s vexillogical perspicacity leaves much to be desired, it appears.

  6. Formercorpsman says:

    No way, lol. I can’t f-ing type.

  7. TT says:

“(again, please note that this is a fake screencap based on accurate information. yes, fake but accurate, and done for recreation purposes.)”

    Wait, what? More information please.

  8. sacred ham says:

If Chuck wants to dispute it, all he needs to do is to liberate those disappeared threads from the left-wing Gulag of Shame where he’s holding them captive…

  9. Emperor says:

The BRC just delivered a direct hit on Chuck. Excellent work indeed.

Chuck really has bad luck with state flags, doesn’t he? You think that this would have made him wiser and prevented the Tennessee flag debacle…Chuck just doesn’t learn.

  10. Stillactive says:

…and historic comments are off again. You guys just had to go and pick all the berries, piss the SoCC off and slow my picking in the process. I’m going to Wickipeda and see if it mentions that viewing past comments is a crap shoot. CHUNK! Just delete them all and get it over with! (pssst..hey Chunk, I never look into the past when I’m signed in) Keep looking…I’m Stillactive.

    doriangrey1 :
ROTFLMAO… The Satanic bible is perhaps one of the most insipidly stupid and poorly written books ever published. A seven year old on LSD could have written a better book.

I agree – it looks like the reading list for a rebellious fourteen-year-old.

    • ISpeakJive says:

And she rags on Atlas Shrugged as insipid, lol. That list of hers has to be a joke. She’s tweaking us. I could swear she said once that nobody on the left had ever even heard of the Alinsky Rules until the Repub’s brought it up. Or maybe that was SFZ. I’s forgets.

    • doriangrey1 says:

Na, I read it when I was about 14 ( and quite rebellious), and remember thinking, damn this is some really stupid shit, who ever wrote this did it strictly to rip gullible angry idiots off. I promptly threw it in the trash, and kind of felt bad for the trash.

  12. William Standish Knowels says:

Chunk. Social Studies. Flags and States.. Try it.

  13. Emperor says:

Depiction of Chuck banishing a post to the memory hole:

(Note: This video is fake and inaccurate. In reality, Chuck deletes a comment by pressing the big red “DELETE” button on the LGF admin panel in dramatic fashion, and then celebrates by swiveling around in his chair and throwing a Cheeto into a bottle filled with an unknown yellow liquid several feet away. He then congratulates himself, remarking that he could be a professional basketball player.)

    New thread aborted?

Yup. I tried to post it was the Ohio flag, and got the message “Item closed”.

I could swear Charles just put up a thread titled “Obama Redesigns American Flag” and then promptly made it go *poof*.

However Charles has blocked access to ALL comments pre 2009 so you can’t see them.

I think the main thrust of this particular entry at DoD is not so much that Charles hides things (we know he does) the point of this post is that when it comes to identifying state flags Charles “booger” Johnson is dumber than a box of rocks.
    😉

    • nil says:

He really is a blogger of very little brain. But LOL funny, he’s got that going for him.

    • LOL they ain’t gonna dispute it. Killgore was there when it happened.

And yes, perhaps we should give lessons here on these state flags.

      • nil says:

Dispute it? They ain’t even gonna mention it. It’s gotten way too embarrassing for Lizardoid since the 9M fiasco. Anyone bringing up ‘stalkers’ now is gonna get squashed like a bug. But they’re the ones who’re winning! by ignoring us – riiight.

  15. ImMelting says:

Does anyone remember a post he had which was a link to a site comparing the Arab inventions versus Jewish/Israeli ones?

  16. TT says:

Chen, maybe you can rewrite the article so it’s clearer what’s going on and include the comments that ISTE dug up. It was a bit confusing what you were trying to do, especially the whole recreated screenshot thing. I think someone not familiar with LGF’s history would just write that post off as a failed parody or a made up smear or something.

  17. guy says:

i have to say, this post is rather satisfying.

Looks like HotAir got fed up with Chuck mailing them,so they did their own post post.Chuck probably took down his post shortly after reading this one?

This is indisputable evidence to the fact that Charles has not changed – he always was a controversy-inventing, dumb shit.

  20. dwells38 says:

So did he make that mistake 52 times as O campaigned thru the states? 😉

  21. garycooper says:

dwells38 :So did he make that mistake 52 times as O campaigned thru the states?

It was 57 times, to be precise.

    • beeduwine says:

I’ve preached the gospel o’ bama
      in fifty-seven states
      Told stories of my Grama
you know, the one full of hate
      “Fifty-seven states?” you say
      “I count forty-seven plus three
      and your Grama is KKK?
how on earth can this be?”
You’re right, I should adjust the amount
      To, say, how about fifty-three?
      Texas shouldn’t count
      Nor Alabama and Tennessee
As for my Grama hating darks
      Yeah, it’s all good
      She’s got tire marks
      All over that white hood

  22. blogwarriorx says:

    dwells38 :
So did he make that mistake 52 times as O campaigned thru the states?

    57 or 60?

  23. Mr. Tibbs says:

Books:Rules for Radicals, Communist Manifesto, Anarchists Cookbook, Origin of Species, Satanic Bible

You know, I remember when Ice first showed up she was called out for using Rules for Radicals tactics and she said that she had never read the book nor even knew who Saul Alinsky was.

    • swamprat says:

Who knows when she got it?

But she obviously is working the crowd now.

    • KGB says:

Will someone please tell me that list of books is a joke? That’s the person, Chuck allows to act as Mother Superior on his smoldering husk of a blog? Good god, even the most intellectually baby-faced 17 year old would look at that list with jaded eyes.

Is it safe to assume at this point that Weezy is also unshaven? You’re a real rebel, honey; we’re all so impressed!

    • Walter von Dichische says:

What’s really weird about that list (and a sign of invincible immaturity) is that the thrust of the commie manifesto and the satanic bible are rather opposite. The satanic bible is completely amoral – take what you want – and is the kind of philosophy that the left accuses the right of.

But it has the “groovy” factor that ranks highly with that crowd.

  24. garycooper says:

And “Origin of Species,” too…yeah, I’m sure she read that potboiler cover-to-cover! LOL.

What a list. Where’s “The Autobiography Of Malcolm X,” and “Watership Down?” Come on, Weazy…get with the hippie-times!

    • Walter von Dichische says:

Most of the EVOLUTION!!!!!11 crowd (including Chuckles the class clown) has never read OoS, and hasn’t got a clue what Darwin’s theory really means.

But there’s that “groovy” factor. It’s groovy cuz all the cool kidz talk about it.

Whoa! I’ve been slandering the Won. He didn’t say there were 57 States he said he visited 57 and had one more to go. That means there are 58 states!

I will correct that from now on.

  27. spaceallah says:

And yet this dipshit wants to broadbrush everyone from the south as being ignorant, yet he’s never seen a state flag that wasn’t EVVVVVVIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

What a dipshit. Fuckin dumbass. LMAO

Hey CJ, go get a book on America and its states. And state flags. Apparently you have a lot to learn.

    • OldLineTexan says:

Buy it on Kindle. Be sure to use your own click-through this time, Stalker Charles.

Happy “reading”! (Lotsa pictures, don’t worry)

      • Walter von Dichische says:

Maybe DoD should add all 50 state flags to the sidebar. Just because you know Chuck and gang are here so much.

        Guys?

      • snowcrash says:

Flagapalooza. All flags, all the time for the geo politically impaired. It’s like a public service, giving back to the community.

  28. That is one helluva serious case of flagophobia.

More importantly, when is the KKKTrout in the mood for dick?

NTTAWWT, I’d just like to be far away.

  34. melvin says:

Did anyone here even watch the video? The Civil war enactments weren’t the subject. The return to the Confederacy dealt mainly with multiple states invoking nullification. Some other states talked about secession, and others talked about starting their own currency.

Nullification – like Chuck nullified some 4000 accounts?
Secession – like Chuck seceded from his former allies?
Currency – like Chuck’s Karma Points?
