The principled and sincere young liberal LGF member McSpiff has made an inoffensive and sensible complaint about the group think at LGF which was immediately deleted; the smarmy scum-sucking lizard swarm quickly turned on him with insults and derision.
They have no honour, no sense of their history. McSpiff was one of the few liberals courageous enough to hold his own back when LGF was a strongly conservative blog. He did so with dignity and without resort to insults, and took his lashes without complaint.
Now that LGF has become an ultra-leftist blog, dominated by sociopaths like Iceweasel and Jimmah, and as Gus802 has observed, a 24/7 echo chamber of Democrat party talking points, McSpiff has proven his worth by taking issue with them as well.
I admire McSpiff’s courage and honesty, and please note, I was generally on the opposite side of his views, arguing fiercely. I hope McSpiff could find a welcome on our conservative, but civil, blogmocracy and provide us with wholesome debate. Could we do that? Treat a liberal with respect and courtesy and thus prove our strength and difference?
Regardless, McSpiff will be better off getting away from the nasty cultist mentality that has always dominated LittleGreenFootballs, when it was right, left, or simply lost in space.
This has got to be the most transparent example of cut-and-paste blogging displayed yet at the BVoAF:
Chuck today had a post praising Muhammad Ali Hasan for leaving the GOP. Well this man is clearly is not a fit for the Republican Party. He makes moral equivalency between the IDF and Hizballah/Hamas.
Yet, does labeling Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups suddenly give blanket waver to the atrocities that are committed against Muslims around the world? Absolutely not – Israel’s army is a terrorist organization in one’s eyes, as well, considering their recent atrocities against the many innocent people of Lebanon. In addition, Hamas and Hezbollah are political organizations with much power, so we have no choice but to interface with them and encourage positive dialogue; but we must be critical of their guilty acts.
This sounds like Paulinian logic, comparing Imperialist organization against a military that calls itself a Defense Force. This is just the tip of the iceberg with Mr. Hasan. It turns out he is also the director of a movie called Rabia.
A story about a woman who must blow herself up in order to exist.
Rabia is a woman who must blow herself up in order to exist. From the moment she straps explosives to her bare body, we are exposed to flashbacks of Rabia’s past, filled with abuse, rejection, and struggle. With detonator in hand, we find ourselves asking whether Rabia’s act is one of evil or one of heroism?
Rabia is a woman who must blow herself up in order to exist. Ever so determined to complete her suicide mission, Rabia tricks Israeli soldiers, sneaks past checkpoints, and resorts to personal violence in order to achieve success. As we follow Rabia’s mission, from the moment she straps explosives to her bare body, we are exposed to flashbacks of Rabia’s past, filled with abuse, rejection, and struggle. By the time she steps onto a popular Israeli beach, awaiting to kill hundreds of innocent civilians in a massive explosion, we find ourselves asking whether Rabia’s act is one of evil or one of heroism?
As a Conservative, I’m glad Muhammad Ali Hasan has joined the Democratic party. He fits right in with the Progressives since they support his Islamic cause and like him, they hate Israel.
Chuck, so you are praising a hater of the State of Israel and a supporter of Islamic terror? This makes you an enabler of Jihad and a disgusting individual. You have turned against everything you once stood for because Pam Geller rejected you. Clearly you are a deranged man and one who deserves all the mocking you receive.
(Hat Tip: Gus802)
Chuck is crowing that a Muslim is leaving the GOP because of anti-Islamic bias. In reality no one cares about this Muhammad Ali Hasan. Does he really think this will damage the Right?
What a blow to the GOP that Mr. Hasan is leaving! I’m sure Republicans leaders are losing sleep over this. I’m sure millions of Conservatives are upset over this and will wonder why the all too important Hasan went over to the Democrats.
In the real world, there are an Islamic terror attack in Sweden yesterday
STOCKHOLM – Two blasts that shook a busy shopping street in central Stockholm were an act of terrorism, officials said Sunday. If confirmed as a suicide bombing, it would be the first such attack in the Nordic country.
Police would not comment on a motive for the attack Saturday that killed the apparent bomber and wounded two other people. But a Swedish news agency said it received an e-mail threat just before the blast in which the writer claimed to have visited the Middle East “for jihad,” and referred to Sweden’s soldiers in Afghanistan and a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad that outraged the Muslim world.
OK Chuck, we didn’t you discuss this? This is a real world event that affects people. Mr. Hasan’s leaving of the GOP isn’t important, except in your head and on your cult blog Chuck.
